When would it be safe to start Qsymia after a lower body lift?

I will have a lower body lift, lipo, and breast augmentation. How long do I need to wait to start my qsymia medication? I’ll be returning in September for other procedures as well.

Thank you for your question regarding when it would be safe to start Qysmia after a lower body lift. Lower body lift is a major surgery requiring proper nutrition to aid healing. Consuming enough protein, at least 100g per day, is essential during the first two weeks after the procedure.
Since Qysmia can affect appetite and potentially hinder healing, I recommend waiting at least 3 to 4 weeks after your lower body lift before restarting Qysmia. Coordinating with your plastic surgeon is crucial in determining the appropriate time to resume the medication.
It is vital not to start Qysmia if your wounds and incisions have not fully healed. Healing should take priority over starting any medication. Please consult your plastic surgeon to ensure it is safe to resume Qysmia after your lower body lift.
