I.m scheduled for Torsoplasty TT and Bbl. Lipo might be little depending on blood count since no blood transfusion is possible. My concern is that I will end up boxy and shapeless whish some doctors says could happened with Torsoplasty? My whole goal is to have as much of hourglass figure as possible.Specially with limited lipo. Should I have only TT and Bbl or stick to the original 3? Is flip flap a possible option to create curves? Please help.
Answer: Torsoplasty and Your Body Shape: Creating Curves Thank you for your question. I understand your concerns about maintaining and enhancing your body shape following a torsoplasty. There are two main types of torsoplasty: vertical and horizontal, each having distinct results. A vertical torsoplasty involves an incision on your sides, effectively narrowing the waistline. It tends to create an attractive hourglass shape, with the scar generally concealed when your arms are at your sides. The horizontal torsoplasty, also known as a bra strap or back lift, involves an incision across your back. It eliminates excess skin and fat on the torso, resulting in a smoother back. While it doesn't produce the same degree of hourglass effect as a vertical torsoplasty, it removes more skin on the back. Given your desire for curves, a vertical torsoplasty might be preferable. This procedure can be combined with your tummy tuck and Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). If fat deposits are limited, the effects of a BBL might be less dramatic. However, concentrating liposuction on the suprailiac crest and transferring this to the buttock, with a potential additional fat transfer to the hips, could provide more shape. I'm not familiar with the term "flip-flop" in this context. If you can clarify, I would be happy to provide further advice. Thank you once again for reaching out with your questions and concerns. I hope this information proves helpful in your decision-making process. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen

Answer: Bellesoma Method and tummy tuck then back lift, circumferential body lift and BBL I would begin with your breasts first using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. At the same time, a tummy tuck can be performed. If you are not planning future pregnancies, I recommend abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight. After 6 months, you can consider a back lift and a circumferential body lift. You may also have the Brazilian butt lift done at this time as well. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Torsoplasty or Tummy tuck and BBl Thank you for your query. While Torsoplasty can mean different procedures , it seems your surgeon has discussed a Lower Body Lift (including tummy tuck) with BBL. I think a 360 Lipo with an extended tummy Tuck and BBL can give you excellent results. If you wish to have a completion lower body lift , it can always be done later. This approach will also minimise the need for blood transfusions. Please discuss this with your Plastic surgeon who will be able to help you in making a decision. All the best!

Answer: Torsoplasty Dear RideWhitinTheStorm, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT and BBL. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: LBL and buttocks flap An after weight loss surgery always represents a large procedure just because we are performing on patients who needs a lot of skin removal and also the very important LIFT of the body below the incision. That means much more invasive procedures. So patients must be selected depending on their risk factors as is age, Bariatric surgery or not, the amount of weight lost, and how extensive is the procedure needed. So you are a great candidate for lowerbody lift which will be a 360 procedure, tummy tuck, muscle repair. Mons lift, real buttocks lift, liposuction to lovehandles and adding another large procedure as is the torsoplasty or the buttocks flap, represents higher risk of complications in your particular case. Moderate Fat grafting can be done safely, and most likely You won’t end up with flat butt but either with a big one. Just a feminine nicer shape. Be encouraged. Dr. Cárdenas
