Hello, I lost a lot of weight. I am 50 and a little under 100 pounds. I need my butt lifted, my breasts lifted, and my entire abdomen done- I may or may not need a fleur de lis. I do not need inner thighs done, as Ive had that done. I am conflicted if its best to do a lower body lift with a fleur de lis (if needed) which will address abdomen plus butt with my breast lift? Or, get an extended TT and breast lift and then come back for a butt lift later on. I do not want breast implants and I do not have enough body fat for a BBL so I just need it lifted. Best to combine everyone and do a full body lift or break it up?
F32 down 212lbs since October 2021, 157lbs 5'7. I workout doing combat sports and conditioning 12-13 hours a week, no chronic medical conditions. I've been on a weight loss and fitness journey for a while now, and have always thought my goal weight would be 150, but that was arbitrary. I recently got a follow up DEXA scan, and found that my torso is at 21% body fat, with my overall body fat of 26%, which was lower than I thought (my legs, however, are at 32% ). With my body fat lower than I expected, I realize that each additional pound I lose isnt going to contribute meaningfully to an improved appearance. In other words, I keep waiting to look fit but now it seems thats not likely. However, I assume Ill require a lot of procedures, and know that these types of surgeries are often shorter on those with lower body fat. Is there a world where an additional 8lbs lost might result in being able to bundle one more procedure into a surgery? And if so is that a good reason to delay seeking out a consult until Ive lost more weight? Or am I not lean enough for that to make a difference? Ive found the surgeons Im interested in have (understandably) significant fees for a consult, and I dont want to waste a round of consults only for that additional weight to change the game plan/potential possibilities. Thank you for your time!
I am 39 yrs. old lost 70 pounds. Had a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon recommend for best results a lower body lift as opposed to my originally planned tummy tuck. So far I have decided only on the extended tummy tuck due to fear that the lower body lift is more serious. He also said that I could come back if I decided to in the future to complete the other areas towards a lower body lift. What's the diff. between doing it all at once or seperately as far as safety? recovery?
i was just reading where a poster on Real Self had a Belt Lipectomy; and as i read, it said it deals with the lower part fo the body (buttocks, flanks/love handles). So my question is, is this procedure painful? Can you sit and recover without many impossible restrictions?
I am a white male, age 35, height 6'1 with BMI less than 25 and weight of 190 lbs. For roughly 1.5 years, I have been bodybuilding and am noticing that I am unable to see my abdominal muscles due to a tube of loose skin around my waist. I was very obese from age 12 to 16. At age 15, my obesity peaked when I weighed 270 lbs. at height 5'8. I was not active at that time, hence it was all fat. I rapidly lost weight through diet and intense cardio, going down to 160 lbs. at age 16. Ever since, the skin around my waist, on my stomach and my flanks/sides has been loose and it exhibits stretch marks. I have occasionally had naval infections because the loose skin closes off the belly button. I was advised by a plastic surgeon to get a bodylift to tighten the skin around the waist (belt lipectony / bodylift). I would like to avoid surgery only if an alternative non-surgical treatment is equally effective in its ability to permanently remove the intertube around the waist. I understand that my case is probably not the worst anyone has ever seen, but my waist has bothered me now for 20 years and I want to have an abdomen that corresponds with my otherwise obvious physical fitness and healthy life style. Do surgeons here think a bodylift is warranted in my case? Would there be an equally permanent and effective non-surgical alternative? (In the photos, I am bulking. The skin is more pronounced when my weight/body is normal / average).
I want to have (1) lower body lift, (2) arm lift (non-extended), and (3) breast reduction/lift. I have consulted with multiple surgeons and was told by one that I could combine these procedures and surgery time would be about 6.5 hours. I am 5'4 and weigh 155 pounds, I am 46 years old. I have lost 90 pounds, and have skin laxity. I was told by one doctor that I did not need muscle repair. How safe is this surgery and is it recommended? Thank you
I had a consult and quote for tummy tuck 360 , lipo360, bbl. I recently found out insurance will cover full leg lipo suction to treat some early stage lipedema but not until end of 2025 for front leg then backs 4 to 6 months later. If i move forward with the 360tt with fat grafting to the butt would the future leg liposuction ruin my lower body lift results and make every all saggy again and if so would a future thigh lift fix that or would i have to repeat lowr body lift?
200lbs down with a current BMI of 26.7 and a tentative goal weight that would put me around 24.3. I often see doctors discuss a maximum BMI limit, but there seems to be less discussion of an ideal BMI For body contouring (and if it might be higher than a calculated ideal weight. ). Is there any truth to the idea that BMI body contouring results might be better slightly above a BMI of 25 than below? It's hard to go by look alone when you have so much excess skin.
I lost 56 kilograms and am now seeking surgical interventions to address excess skin. Specifically, I require an arm lift, thigh lift, tummy tuck and buttock lift.Could you please advise if it is feasible to undergo these procedures concurrently in a single surgical session?
