I went to a consultation yesterday with Dr, he evaluated me and told me he can do a TT 360 plus Fleur-of-Liz and a breast lift with silicone implant! I believe that's very invasive procedure but also it is what I really need in order to get rid of all my extra skin in my torso! TT 360 can be combined with Fleur-of-Liz and bl / implant at the same time? How long it will be take me to recovery specially my mayor concern it is the scar in my back it will be really uncomfortable
Answer: Combining procedures It is common to combine procedures, but it is not always the best choice. You may want to consider doing the tummy tuck portion as the first stage and the breast work second. Many surgeons try to limit surgical time to 6 hours for your safety and to minimize risks. The procedures you are considering when combined will likely surpass this. Speak to your surgeon about your concerns including the benefits and drawbacks. You should then be able to make a more informed decision.

Answer: The better question is SHOULD it be done at the same time. Flaca, thank you for your question. Just because it can be done, doesn't mean it should be done. I don't disagree that those are the best procedures for you but I would recommend separating them into two different surgeries. A circumferential abdominoplasty with fleur-de-lis is a big enough procedure in itself. Having the breast augmentation and lift separately will reduce your risk for both minor and major complications and will likely leave you with better overall results. Be sure to consult with one or more experienced surgeons certified by the ABPS and go with whomever you are most comfortable and confident. Best of luck. Dr. Max Polo

Answer: Tummy Tuck 360 with fleur-de-Liz and breast lift with silicone implants, can it be done at the same time ? This is a lot of surgery at one time. You should consider the risk of blood clots as well as the recovery period.

Answer: Stage It I would Definitely stage this procedure. I would perform the anterior work with the breast lift and possibly implants and the extended tummy tuck (extend the incisions as far as possible) I would then do the back about a month later. Safer and better results.

Answer: Combination procedures after weight loss? Congratulations on your successful weight loss! Generally speaking, combination surgical procedures are done routinely. However, you are wise in being concerned about the safety of combination surgery; risks/possible complications do increase with increased length of surgery… In my opinion, the combination procedures you are considering would be too much to perform in a single session; I would suggest that you stage the procedures you are considering. It is best to evaluate each patient's suitability for combination surgery on an individualized basis. During this consultation process, after a complete history and physical, the SAFETY of combining these surgical procedures becomes of paramount importance. Plastic surgeon, anesthesia provider, duration of surgery, surgery facility all important considerations. Your best bet: choose your plastic surgeon very carefully; everything else including good judgment/advice/planning, anesthesia provider and safe surgery facility will follow. Always keep priorities (safety, avoidance of complications, and quality of outcome) in mind as you make your decisions. Best wishes.
