Does scar tissue from c-section impact mommy makeover results?

I am considering getting lipo or a mommy makeover, because of c-sections that I have had I was told during the second c-section that I had a lot of scar tissue. Will this be a problem getting this procedure, and will my age be a factor in getting this procedure. I am 49 years old

Most C-sections are performed through a short horizontal incision just above the pubis.  Sometimes under emergency situation a lower vertical incision in made to quickly deliver a baby in distress.  Either way the healed C-section scar is removed completely or nearly completely (vertical ones) with abdominoplasty surgery.  The aesthetic results rarely are affected either way.  If you are a healthy 49 year old, a Mommy Makeover can be performed very safely.  Best of luck!

Many women are concerned that their C-section scar will be a problem if they are considering a tummy tuck as part of their mommy makeover.  It is unlikely to cause any problems with this procedure. Most of the time the C-section scar is removed with a tummy tuck.  Your age is definitely not a factor!
