I'm hoping to achieve the first pic in terms of cleavage (i like how close they are) and upper pole fullness (not too round and fake looking). I have chosen Mentor 400cc Moderate High Xtra Implants (4.9cm I'm projection & 12.1cm in diameter). I don't care too much about projection my main goal is a nice front view cleavage? 12.1cm diameter is as wide as i can go. Just based on pics do you think this is achievable? Will it be too big/small? Thank you!
Answer: Work with your surgeon Choosing the right size and type of breast implant is a highly individualized decision that should be made in consultation with a qualified plastic surgeon. They will take into consideration your unique anatomy, personal goals, and other factors to help you choose the best implant for your needs. In general, a 400cc implant may be considered a medium to large size, depending on your body frame and breast tissue. While it's not possible to determine whether it will be too big or too small based solely on photographs, your plastic surgeon can help you visualize what the final result might look like using implant sizers or 3D imaging. It's important to keep in mind that achieving a certain look, such as the cleavage and upper pole fullness in the photo you provided, depends on many factors beyond implant size, including the position and shape of your natural breasts, the placement of the implants, and the surgical technique used. Ultimately, the decision to undergo breast augmentation is a personal one that should be carefully considered in consultation with a qualified plastic surgeon who can help guide you through the process and ensure that your goals are realistic and achievable.

Answer: Simulation is the best answer Implants are picked based on your body and the size of your chest and breast. A 400 cc implant in one person will not look the same as a 400 cc implant in someone else. The shape of the implant will make a difference, as will where the implant is placed (above or below the muscle). The best way to give you an idea of what things will look like after surgery is using a simulation software such as Crisalix. Although not completely accurate, we find it gives patients the best idea of their result after surgery. The software tends to place the implants further apart than they will be following surgery. A 400 cc Moderate High Xtra implant sounds like it could be a reasonable choice for you, but an in person assessment and simulation would be needed to say for sure.

Answer: Too big or too small Hello, thank you for your question. It is a common one. Some patients are afraid to be too big some afraid to be too small. Its not based on what we think its actually based on the width of your chest wall. If you chose a size within that range even if its on the higher end then it will still be flattering to your frame. Speak to your plastic surgeon again about sizing and bring in lots of wish pics. Check out our link for before and after gallery.

Answer: Implant size Dear user88888, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Hello Looking your pictures, I think with your body type, and the shape of your chest, you can’t have that result, you need the implants placed behind the muscle, you don’t have to much breast tissue or skin to go to big, I don’t think that you can achieve that result

Answer: Wanting nice cleavage after breast augmentation Thank you for your question. Without knowing your breast dimensions it is not possible to predict how the 400cc implants will fill out your breasts. Based on the photos it appears that you have a fairly small gap between your breasts so if the implants are similar to your breast width, you should still have a small gap after surgery. However, your surgeon will be the best source of advice regarding your potential postoperative result.
