I don’t fill an A cup and barely have breast tissue. I was hoping I could jump 2 a full B cup, teardrop shape, medium profile since I would like 2 look natural but my doc suggested me 2 get the smallest implant there is, round shape, high profile because he thinks that is what would suit me best for my small body but im scared I will not like them rounded shape high profile with a really small size. I didnt know being so flat chested could mean not being able to get the implants u wanted? :(
Answer: Size Your doctor is trained to help guide you to the best size and shape that fits your frame and tissue. A medium profile may just be too flat to give much shape and fullness. Go back and try on the sizes so you can see the difference.

Answer: Implants and small breast Hi there, thanks for your question, you can definetly still get implants, but the size of the implant will depend on the width of your breast and how much "stretch" your tissue has. I have often times have patients with little to no breast tissue get smaller implants, let their skin stretch, and then exchange them for larger implants 6+ months down the line. You could also do that.

Answer: Implants I encourage you to visit with a few board certified plastic surgeons near you to discuss your goals for surgery and learn about your options. While there are limits to implant size based on your anatomy, typically patients are able to get a nice increase in volume. I've included a video on implant selection that I hope you find helpful.

Answer: Choosing the right size and profile breast implants for you After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants, and they choose what looks right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author. Answer: Wanting Implants But Having Flat Chest Thank you for your inquiry regarding breast augmentation and implant choices. As a plastic surgeon, my priority is to ensure the best possible outcome for each patient while taking into consideration their individual anatomy and preferences. The implant size and shape that is most suitable for you depends on several factors, including the available skin envelope and the degree to which your skin can stretch. For patients with minimal breast tissue and a smaller frame, it may be necessary to consider a smaller implant size, as well as a different shape and profile than initially desired, to achieve a natural and aesthetically pleasing result. Your surgeon's recommendation of a smaller, round, high-profile implant is likely based on their assessment of your unique anatomy and the goal of providing you with the most harmonious and proportional result possible. However, it is essential to have an open and honest discussion with your surgeon about your concerns and expectations. They can provide further explanation and reassurance, as well as explore alternative implant options if necessary. It is crucial to understand that achieving the desired outcome in breast augmentation is a balance between your preferences and what is anatomically feasible to ensure long-term satisfaction and minimize complications. Please consult with your board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns further and reach a mutually agreeable solution. I wish you the best of luck. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen
