I travelled from Toronto, Canada, to Mexico City for my liposculpture procedure with Dr. Jose Telich. After extensive research, multiple consultations, and some hesitation about travelling abroad for surgery, I’m genuinely glad I made this decision. From the first virtual consultation, Dr. Telich was thorough, calm, realistic, and highly knowledgeable. He took the time to understand my goals, explained what was achievable for my body type, and never rushed or pressured me. I appreciated his focus on natural, realistic proportions rather than overpromising dramatic results. As an international patient, I had many questions regarding logistics, safety, recovery, follow-up, and what to expect post-op. Dr. Telich and his team were responsive, clear, and reassuring throughout the entire process. Communication was smooth, professional, and prompt, which greatly eased my anxiety about travelling for surgery. His office is located at Hospital Ángeles, a modern and reputable hospital in Mexico. The area felt safe, clean, and convenient, with everything I needed (a pharmacy, mall, and food options) all within walking distance of my hotel. On surgery day, everything was extremely organized and professional. The clinic staff were kind, attentive, and experienced. Dr. Telich marked my body carefully and explained each step of the process. It was very clear that he takes pride in his work and genuinely loves what he does. Post-op care at the clinic was excellent. The nurses were kind and attentive, checked my vitals regularly overnight, and ensured I was comfortable. I never felt neglected or unsure of what was happening. Pain was well managed, and post-op instructions were clear. I appreciate Dr. Telich’s availability and follow-up care. He personally removed my stitches, checked my healing, answered all of my (many) questions, and reassured me through normal post-op swelling and recovery concerns. Even after I returned to Canada, he has remained proactive about scheduling virtual check-ins. As an international patient, this level of aftercare is incredibly important, and my expectations were exceeded. I’m still early in my healing journey, but even at 16 days post-op, I can already see improvements in my body contours and proportions as swelling has begun to subside. Dr. Telich took an artistic and conservative approach, focusing on shaping rather than overly aggressive fat removal, which I now understand is key for smooth, long-term results. He was also very honest about swelling, fibrosis, and the fact that final results take months. There were no unrealistic promises, only transparency. Dr. Telich is highly skilled, ethical, honest, detail-oriented, compassionate, and extremely professional. Travelling internationally for surgery was intimidating, but he and his team made the entire experience feel safe, structured, and well supported from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone seeking high-quality care, natural results, and a surgeon who genuinely cares about his patients.

I performed a lot of research before setting on 5 options for a surgeon to help me with a major body reconstruction journey after losing over 100kgs. After careful assessment and interviews with all those, I went for Dr Jose E Telich, who performed a Flor de Lys tummy tuck, a breast lift and a brachioplasty on me simultaneously at the Hospital Angeles del Pedregal in Mexico city this last August 1st of 2025. I had a wonderful experience in the hands of Dr Telich. In the pre-operation stage: He was super available and responsive in the period preparing to the surgery, providing extra and flexible consults before, answering questions, and mostly, listening carefully and addressing the fears and concerns I had. He helped me understand the preparation process and arrange for appropriate pre and post planning. I had in-depth support to understand what and when to take or stop taking to be in the best possible condition for the planned date. The doctor listens actively and is very respectful and empathic. Throughout the process, he made me feel quite safe, and consistently heard and addressed my concerns. I had some concerns on the anesthesia and pain management given my personal medical history, which was managed beyond professionally. I also wanted to prioritize contour and recovery for my procedure, and 1 month after the operation, could not be happier with my results. The post-care has also been brilliant, responsive, empathic, adding flexibility to communications even when I am now back home, in a completely different continent, and I am quite reassured and clear on when and how we will follow up. I am still unsure of having a follow up for skin removal/ lift on my thighs, but I am more open and potentially willing to finish the journey now, and if so, I would definitely do so with Dr Telich again. While I am still considering whether to proceed with a thigh lift or further skin removal, my positive experience with Dr. Telich has made me much more open to continuing my transformation. If I decide to move forward, there is no doubt I will choose Dr. Telich again. For anyone considering reconstructive surgery or medical turism, I would highly recommend Dr. Telich. He is a wonderful doctor, super professional and experienced, compassionate, and a highly dedicated plastic surgeon. My experience has been life-changing, and I am deeply grateful for his exceptional care.

I had jaw filler done with Dr. Telich, and I honestly could not be happier with the results and care I received. Needles make me faint easily, which unfortunately happened during my visit, but Dr. Telich and his assistant were incredibly kind and attentive, staying by my side and making sure I was completely okay before I left. As for the results of the filler, it has already massively improved my self perceptiom and confidence. I will definitely be returning!

I recently had a Botox treatment with Dr. Telich and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very first consultation, he was highly professional and attentive, taking time to explain every step of the procedure and answering all my questions with patience and expertise.

Dr T is very professional, ethical, and competent. He speaks English fluently. Dr T. provided me options and a detailed invoice. He is well known and admired at the hospital. Dr. T. has privileges at both the major hospital and surgical clinic. That saved me several thousand dollars. The staff at the surgical clinic are so good. The room at the surgical clinic had a place for my husband to stay over with me. We were both comfortable. My procedure went very well and I’m thrilled with the results. I’m older and have runners asthma. I had no complications from the anesthesia. I explained my circumstance and they took excellent care of me. We stayed at the hotel located adjacent to the hospital where Dr T has his office. It’s a very nice hotel with two restaurants. The French restaurant in the hospital is also very delicious. I can’t say enough about the good care and comfortable setting. Definitely 5 star review.

If you’re thinking about medical tourism, Dr. José Telich is the one to see! From the start, he was super responsive, spoke perfect English, and kept in touch through email and WhatsApp, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. I had a lipoma removed, and honestly, it couldn’t have been easier. Dr. José made me feel completely at ease—the procedure was quick, painless, and done right in the office within an hour.
