My right breast has always looked much higher than my left . I have 365cc in my left and 385cc in the right. I even had a procedure to release some scar tissue under local anaesthetic in my right breast, however I still feel that it really isn’t right! In clothing you can tell that my nipples are on completely different levels and the breast still sits higher and is slightly wonky now! I need some advice on how this can be solved?

Answer: Breast Implant Bottoming Out Thank you for the photos. It does appear that it is the left breast that is the issue not your right. The left breast implant is sitting lower and appears to have bottomed out. The solution is to lift up the left side to obtain better symmetry.I would consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.Hope that helps.

Answer: Bottoming out Dear elliemai, Bottoming out occurs when the implant falls below the current breast crease or inframammary line. It's more likely to happen with inframammary incisions, which is why I try not to use the inframammary approach to any breast surgery. Bottoming out can also occur if an implant is too large for the breast pocket. That is why it is important to choose an implant size that's correct for your body. I perform numerous measurements in the office to determine optimal implant size for my patient's bodies. If you are concerned, please check it with your plastic surgeon for reassurance and to further discuss your options and possibility of revision.
