Original surgeon says the risk isn't worth the reward in a revision surgery. I have 400cc silicone mod + implants under the muscle. Is this fixable or am I screwed forever?

Answer: Explant and The Bellesoma Lift You have double bubble deformity of both breasts. I recommend explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained, if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: How to fix a double bubble deformity HI,You have what is called a "double bubble" deformity. The implant has dropped below the level of the original inframammary fold. There is not a perfect solution for this, but during revision surgery the fold can be released to allow the overlying tissue to stretch and the implant capsule can be tightened to move the implant higher in the pocket. This should result in a significant improvement, but relapse and recurrent dropping of the implant can take place. All my best,Daniel A. Medalie, MD
