Having surgery next week and my surgeon can’t help me with the best sizing to go for. I want a natural look, so tear drop implant I think but he hasn’t told me or given me options, I want a look that is flat at top rather than full at top which I think the round will give me.. If someone can help that would be amazing for advice happy to send before photos if this helps
Answer: Breast implants I agree with your decision to downsize the implants. What size to use depends on your goals and you should be able to discuss this with your surgeon and commit to a size before surgery. I advise against teardrop implants. They’re terrible.

Answer: #downsizing #breastimplants with #PlasticSurgery in #breastaugmentation Your implants are obviously too big for your chest! The volume of your future implants is something that you will need to decide depending on how big you wish your breasts to be. Ideally the implant width should be less than the base diameter of the footprint of your breast on your chest. You can then choose an implant of the volume you wish to have with this implant width. You will need an uplift done to reduce the stretched out skin envelope to suit your new implant. The implant pocket will need to be reduced to the dimensions of your new implant. The look that you are wishing for can be achieved by having anatomical (tear drop) shaped implants. But there is a risk of rotation of the implants if placed in the same implant pocket. The implant pocket can be changed to above or below the muscle depending on where it is now. It is concerning that a decision on your implants has not yet been made when you are scheduled to have surgery next week! This is obviously a very important decision and you need to be clear in your mind as to what implants you want before you go ahead with your surgery. In some cases the implant chosen will depend on the implant that is removed and it is not easy to have a clear idea of the volume of the implant to be used if the volume of the existing implant is not know. However in your case, you do know the volume of your current implants and new implants need to be chosen taking this in to account. For optimal outcome, please consult a fully qualified plastic surgeon, who has specialist qualification in plastic surgery 'FRCS Plast' after having being trained adequately in the field of plastic surgery, is registered on the 'Specialist register for Plastic surgery' with the General Medical Council and has been considered competent enough to be a member of the 'BAPRAS' (British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons) and 'BAAPS' (British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) at the least.

Answer: Implant size and type Dear Luminous777707, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: I have 495cc full projection. My implants are too big. I’m now a 32F. Had them in June 2015. What size should I go for? The best implant size, shape and texture that can help achieve your desired results involve an extensive examination and decision making. Many factors are taken into consideration when choosing an implant, such as your chest wall measurements, skin elasticity, your goal result, and the technique and skill of your chosen surgeon. All these can be determined through a physical examination. The best course of action would be to schedule an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon for an in person examination and a detailed discussion of your surgical options.
