Robert J. Morin, M.D. is a board certified plastic surgeon, craniofacial surgeon and pediatric plastic surgeon. In addition to general plastic surgery, Dr. Morin specializes in cosmetic surgery of the head and face. Dr. Morin was voted by his peers as one of the best plastic surgeons in the NYC metro area and is included in Castle Connolly’s “Top Doctors” book. had the pleasure of undergoing a nose job with Dr. Morin, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. From the initial consultation to the final follow-up, Dr. Morin demonstrated an exceptional level of skill and care. He took the time to listen to my concerns, explain the procedure in detail, and ensure that I felt comfortable every step of the way. The outcome of the surgery exceeded my expectations, and I am genuinely pleased with the natural-looking results. Dr. Morin’s professionalism, combined with his compassionate approach, made the entire experience smooth and reassuring. I highly recommend Dr. Morin to anyone considering cosmetic surgery—he is truly a remarkable surgeon.
Words cannot begin to express the gratitude I feel towards Dr. Morin. After a very botched revision with another surgeon, I came to Dr. Morin in hopes he can fix the shapeless nose & uneven nostrils I was left with. Seeing Dr. Morin’s before/ after pictures of both his rhinoplasties & revision rhinoplasties gave me tremendous hope that I was in the right hands. Once I was ready to book my surgery, Vicky helped work with my schedule to find a day that worked best for me. During my pre-op appointment, Dr. Morin discussed at length what bothered me about my nose and his plan to address it during surgery. Nurse Aubree then came to review all of the pre/post op paperwork. She helped calm my nerves in preparation for surgery. I am truly SO grateful for her! There was so much attention to detail that no other surgeon/ office ever provided – I was given acne pads to help clean my face post op, bromelain/ arnica pills to help with swelling, and many more things that showed me Dr. Morin truly thought of everything. Before going into surgery, Dr. Morin discussed with me once more what bothered me about my nose and his plans to fix it. The staff at the surgery center he operated at was incredible as well. One thing that truly stuck with me is one of the nurses came up to me and said, “I work with many other plastic surgeons and let me tell you, Dr. Morin is the king of rhinoplasties.” This was amazing to hear minutes before my surgery and truly helped clam any nerves I had. Once I woke up from my surgery, I was expecting the first week to be awful. Since I had undergone a revision with another surgeon just 1.5 years ago, I was expecting the same bruising and discomfort all week. To my surprise, I felt really good – I didn’t have a single bruise and had very minimal bleeding post op. It truly was such an easy week and I hope anyone nervous for surgery can be comforted knowing that Dr. Morin and his team truly prep you with everything they can to make the week of surgery go smoothly. When I got my cast off in a week, I was mentally preparing to have an extremely swollen nose (similar to the one I had when my cast was removed after my other surgery as seen in the below image). To my amazement, I had very minimal swelling. I had to fight back tears when I looked at myself in the mirror at Dr. Morin’s office – I finally was able to recognize myself again. The shapeless nose & uneven nostrils I was left with, was addressed and Dr. Morin was able to recreate a beautiful nose that perfectly fit my face. I’m currently 1 month post op and while I am still swollen, I wanted to write this review and share my experience/ pictures as soon as possible in hopes whoever is considering Dr. Morin knows how talented he is. Dr. Morin mentioned many times during our consult he won’t be able to create a perfect nose for me, but he’s wrong in this 1 instance – it’s perfect for me! Not only did I regain my confidence back, but I no longer have this insecurity. I’m excited for the swelling to continue to decrease over time! From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Dr. Morin, for making me feel beautiful again. Dr. Morin’s results truly speak for themselves. I’m hopeful that no one else makes the mistake I did of choosing the wrong surgeon prior to coming to Dr. Morin. Save yourself the stress, time & money and make the right decision the first time around by going with Dr. Morin for your rhinoplasty - you’ll thank yourself that you did. If anyone reading this review wants to contact me for additional information, please feel free to do so. I truly don’t have enough positive words to say about Dr. Morin & his staff. I never thought a surgery could have such an impact on my life, but having gone from being botched & depressed to now feeling beautiful & confident again, I am EXTREMELY thankful for Dr. Morin. I truly hope this review helps just one person going through research to see that Dr. Morin is the absolute best!
I would like to express my gratitude for the excellent care I have received during my hospitalization and following discharge. Without a doubt, your bedside manner, your plastic surgery/medical expertise, your dedication to me as a patient, and your profession are among the very best I have ever encountered. I can honestly say that without your constant commitment to me, I would not be writing this today. The ability to put a patient at ease is one of your strengths. In addition, you have assembled one of the best staffs in any office in New Jersey. They are always available to answer questions regarding medical care, insurance, procedures, etc. The efforts you have made are commendable. As a referral, please feel free to provide my name to any prospective patient. The surgery was a dream and you made it into my reality. I love my results!! My best regards and future success to you and everyone on your staff. God bless those hands Dr. Morin !! Updated on 4 Dec 2023: This is my most recent picture post surgery. I think it’s been 6 months. I do have makeup on, but the swelling went down a lot! I have a tad swelling in my right, but drinking pineapple juice really helped me out a lot lol!
Dr. Morin and his whole office were so professional and made me feel so comfortable throughout my entire breast augmentation experience. He was so helpful with picking out sizing and answering all questions. The results were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Couldn’t be any happier with the entire pre op and post op experience at his office. Don’t bother going anywhere else because Dr. Morin is seriously the best at what he does. 1000/10 if I could’ve left more stars I would’ve. Thanks again Dr. Morin and the team!
Dr. Morin is an amazing surgeon. 5 stars all the way. He takes the time to listen to what you are looking for and explains every step of the process. He’s staff is very kind and lovely! They made the whole process smooth from the moment I booked my consultation to when I was following up post op
Dr. Morin was an amazing surgeon! Extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. He strived for perfection with everything, and in turn provided me with an exceptional rhinoplasty result. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Morin and his team. I was so nervous about the whole process, but they helped me remain confident throughout the entire thing. I went from being self conscious to completely loving my side profile now, all thanks to Dr. Morin’s amazing team.
Excellent Doctor, the best in the New York city area and New Jersey. People travel far to go see him and super happy with m results. It went fast and recovery was quick. Super friendly staff. Procedure was excellent. I really was super happy. Procedure was done in January 2014
Dr. Morin is not your average high street surgeon I researched many doctors before I went to him. He is AMBS certified (which should be your number one question for your surgeon) and when he is not doing cosmetic work, He performs corrective face surgeries in a hospital on children, so that was good enough for me. My experience with him so far was very positive. He is patient, friendly, gives you ample time to ask all your questions, doesn’t rush you and gives honest, detailed answers. He is gentle and the results are natural looking. Personally I wouldn’t let anyone else touch my face. Lastly, his staff are very professional and pleasant, especially Jackie, who is lovely, patient, and very knowledgeable.
Dr Morin made my rhinoplasty process so much better than I expected. 5 years later, I love my nose- it’s proportionate to my face. My deviated septum is now straight and I look so much better in photos. The best part is the nose is proportionate to my face.
I am 43 years old, had had two previous c-sections in my 30s. I had been getting increasingly frustrated that no matter how much I worked out/maintained a healthy diet I could not get rid of loose stomach skin. I did a lot of research and was impressed with Doctor Morin’s reviews mostly regarding his positive outcomes, easy going bedside manner and professionalism. I am three and a half weeks post op and feel I received all of that and more. I was initially really terrified to have elective surgery. I honestly don’t know if I would have gone through but my positive impression of Doctor Morin and feeling I could really trust him calmed my fears and allowed me to make the decision to do it. He answered all my questions with much patience and I never once felt like I was being talked into anything. His support staff, Jackie and Brianna, were also very helpful leading up to and after the procedure. As far as my results its relatively early but I already feel like I have my 28 year old body back pre-pregnancies. I would recommend Doctor Morin to anyone considering this or another form of plastic surgery. I am already so glad I did this procedure and chose the perfect doctor and staff to have the most positive experience possible.
An internal bra describes the process of reinforcing and supporting the lower portion of the breast in the vicinity of the inframammary fold by using some type of material. I commonly use either BellaDerm (acellular human dermis) or Galatea (synthetic surgical mesh) in complex revision cases where I need to reconstruct the "floor" upon which a breast implant sits.
Breast asymmetry is extremely common and there are many techniques available that allow us to improve symmetry. For minor asymmetry, differences in implant pocket dissection and the use of slightly different sized implants can be very helpful. In cases of more severe asymmetry, completely different surgical procedures can be performed on each breast. For example, one breast may require only an implant while the other breast may require both an implant and a lift.
Capsular contracture is a well known complication of breast augmentation surgery. While the cause of capsular contracture is not completely known, there are several things that can be done in an attempt to decrease the risk. Placement of the implant under the pectoralis muscle, meticulous surgical technique and the use of an implant funnel and the "no touch technique" are all believed to reduce the risk.
Nipple position following a breast augmentation is in large part dependent on the placement of the breast implant along the vertical axis of the breast. This is in turn dependent upon the position of the inframammary fold. If the fold is too low, then the implant will sit too low relative to the nipple and the nipple will point up. The solution to nipple asymmetry in a situation where the inframammary folds are asymmetric is to reconstruct the inframammary folds in order to create symmetry.
The double bubble deformity occurs when an implant falls below and behind an inframammary fold that is still partially intact. Fortunately, there are several techniques available that are capable of successfully correcting this. The best course of action is to discuss surgical options with a board certified plastic surgeon.
