Thank you for your question. Any piercings in the treatment area need to be removed before the procedure. The jewelry can be safely worn after the treatment. Regards,
If you want to treat the abdomen we just have clients take out their piercing for the treatment. Immediately after you can put it back in. During the treatment, the suction based applicator can't have a foreign object in or near the treatment area so it's as simple as taking it out, then putting back in after. Should not be a problem!
Piercings are certainly OK with CS, but they need to be removed during the procedure itself to prevent tissue injury. We have experienced no complications with this approach.
Yes, you can get CoolSculpting with a navel piercing, but you will have to take the piercing out during the treatment. We have done this a lot and no one has ever "lost" their piercing.
If the CoolSculpting applicator is being placed over the navel piercing, any jewelry there would need to be removed prior to the treatment of the stomach (abdomen). The jewelry could be replaced after the treatment though. The piercing should not be lost as a result of the procedure.
CoolSculpting can be done on patients who have a naval ring, although we always remove the jewelry during the procedure and replace it a few minutes after termination of the procedure. I have treated many patients with naval rings without any issues.
CoolSculpting is safe with a naval piercing as long as the actual jewelry is removed during treatment (you do not want the actual jewelry pulled in to the vacuum cup, as this would effect the treatment). The jewelry can be worn again safely immediately after treatment. We have treated many patients with naval piercings, and they have not experienced any problems.
As long as you remove the jewelry, CoolSculpting does not have any affect on the navel piercing. The applicators use a vacuum suction to draw in tissue, so we cannot alway predict how much tissue will get pulled into the applicator. If there is any jewelry pulled in, it can cause an error in the treatment. We have experienced no complications when the jewelry has been removed.
Navel piercing is not a reason to avoid CoolSculpting of the belly area. I have treated many with these however the actual jewelry does need to be removed during the procedure. We have not experienced any problems with replacement of the jewelry post procedure. The other reason to remove the jewelry is to avoid artificially treating away from this area could lead to a less than ideal result regarding sculpting and flatteningBest wishes
Yes, it can be done, yet you will have to remove your navel jewelry on theday of the treatment. Depending on your fat distribution, you might require different heads of the machine to give you a slim, attractive abdominal area, "sculpted" to look like a much better version of yourself. The CoolSculpting applicator is not placed directly over the navel, but there are instances where the edge of thenavel may be in contact with the applicator. This should not be a problem aslong as your CoolSculpting practitioner is aware of the issue and you followall recommendations.
There is little to no down time with Coolsculpting. You can definitely return to your usual activities. The only area that some patients have discomfort afterwards is in the abdominal area. To be certain you could have the procedure on a Friday and recover (if any) over the weekend. P...
Thank you for your question. I tell my patients that they may start seeing results around 2 months after Coolsculpting, but shouldn't expect to see full results until 3-4 months after the procedure. In my experience the Coolsculpting procedure is effectiv, but each patient varies slightly on...
Dear American GalCoolsculpting is the best non invasive body contouring in the market. We have had great success with this procedure. It is an excellent option to treat the bra fat region. You do not have to worry about any effect on the silicon implants as this is far away enough from the re...
Coolsculpting is a fabulous procedure, especially for the abdominal area. It is essential to have the area massaged after the procedure. Some lumps can occur after the procedure. Please consult your treating physician for examination and keep us posted. Best, Dr. Green
Coolsculpting is an amazing way to permanently reduce the fat in a given area. Vela shape temporarily decreases the appearance of fat in certain areas. With Coolsculpting you should not need additional treatments in those areas. Please consult an expert. Best, Dr. Green
Thank you for your question. It is suggested to wait a year after childbirth to have Coolsculpting. This is to allow your body some time to heal. Also, if you are breastfeeding it is not recommend to have Coolsculpting. A lot patients take the first year to bounce back and re-asses if it makes...
