Can Ulthera be used safely to narrow a rounded tip of the nose if the roundness is caused by a thick skin envelope instead of excess cartilage?
Answer: Ultherapy in Los Angeles Ulthera can tighten and improve soft tissue and SMAS support in the neck and face. It is not the ideal choice for treating excess nasal skin. We use Ultherapy commonly in our practice and continue to see very positive results. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles

Answer: Ulthera would not be the best treatment for nasal skin Ultherapy utilizes ultrasound technology to create heat under the skin and force the body to produce collagen. This process takes about 3 months to yield a full result and can yield impressive results when done by a qualified practitioner. It sounds like what you are looking to achieve would be best addressed by a surgical procedure but my best recommendation would be to schedule a consult with a local board certified plastic surgeon and discuss your options on the surgical and nonsurgical side.

Answer: Ultherapy treatment for the nose I would not expect Ultherapy to be effective in narrowing a rounded nasal tip. Ultherapy is an effective technique to noninvasively lift skin. What you're describing will most likely require surgical revision.

Answer: Nasal Skin Treatment Ulthera is a non-invasive treatment that works to tighten and contour the skin, and would not be effective to reduce the thickness of nasal skin. Ablative resurfacing lasers like the the Sciton Er;YAG or the CO2 may effectively reshape your nose skin.

Answer: Ultherapy helps tighten loose sagging cheek skin Ultherapy is not a skin surface resurfacing device and can't sculpt the contour of the thick taut skin of the nose. The best way to recontour the thickness of nasal skin is with ablative resurfacing. This usually involves radiofrequency cauterization and / or carbon dioxide laser (Fraxel Repair or the older fully ablative CO2 laser)
