What will work for saggy breasts?

In the past 15 years or so, there have been a few doctors who showed some slight breast lifting when the controversial breast liposuction was done, and others have wondered if radiofrequency or ultrasound energies would lift breast tissue. Remembering that Ultherapy ultrasound is focused and not the same as non-painful ultrasound used for diagnostic purposes.  What is not known yet is how safe these energies would be on breast tissue. If the shallow 1.5 mm transducer of Ultherapy were used on the skin of the breasts it wouldn't penetrate into the glandular breast tissue but the effectiveness and safety of this, still, has not been investigated.

While Ultherapy is cleared for use in the decolletage I have never seen an Ultherapy result which was similar to the lifting ability of the mastopexy procedure. One thing that we have seen some excellent results with though is a combination of the two procedures, where you would undergo a mastopexy and ultherapy in one surgical appointment. The 1.5mm transducer has been shown to help significantly with crepey skin in the decolletage area. In order to determine if you are a candidate for surgery my best advice would be that you have a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options further.

There are currently some studies in progress which are evaluating Ultherapy's ability to provide a subtle breast lift. These results if any will be minimal at best. Surgery still remains the gold standard for breast lifting.

Ultherapy can be used to treat the face, neck and upper chest.  It is not approved for use on the breasts and I have not heard of it being used to treat that area.  I am also not aware of any non-surgical method to help with sagging breasts.  

Ultherapy is FDA approved for the decolletage but there are no FDA approved studies that show that it works to treat sagging breast tissue. Read the Ultherapy ebook provided on the link below. 

To follow-up with
the other physicians’ answers, Ultherapy is a great option for tightening of
the face, neck, and décolleté areas of the skin. There are no current studies
that I am aware of that are evaluating breasts at this time with Ultherapy. Having
said this, I was fortunate to participate in the FDA trials for the décolleté
areas with Ultherapy and there is no question in my mind that when you tighten the
chest, you also see some lifting in the breast areas, but nowhere near what
surgery can do. But if you are not ready for surgery, Ultherapy may be a great
option. And there are no creams, lotions, or potions that are going to do much
for you here.
