My experience today and past experiences with Dr. Haupt, I’ve always been fantastic. Listen to what you have to say, and then gives his suggestions in very easy manner, where you understand. Staff are as excellent as he is and his work is impeccable
I had a tummy tuck and breast lift done back in December of 2023. Dr. Haupt and his team were able to schedule the surgery around my work schedule. The procedure and healing went exactly as he said it would. He and his staff were personable and caring. All of the follow up appointments, including cutting the dog ears off were included in the initial cost. I am thrilled with the results and am wearing a bikini for the first time in over 20 years!
I have loved Dr Haupt and his staff. They are so good to answer questions and return phone calls. They are professional in every way! I know they will keep my health and best interest the highest priority at all times. I highly recommend their services!
Never did I ever expect to be a cosmetic surgery patient, but after two kids my cute little boobs were not the same. I was intrigued by friends that had beautiful results after breast augmentation, but I was not looking to be noticed or to show anything off - I was looking for my cute little boobs back. Dr. Haupt and his staff listened to what I was asking, made considerate recommendations, and after three years of wavering on my part, I have perfectly (for me) sized B cups! They fit my physique and my very active lifestyle perfectly - rather than me adjusting to a new addition. The surgery went smoothly, recovery was a breeze and I truly enjoyed my return visits due to the kind and fun staff at UCS. I'm a huge fan! I am a now 65 yr old woman who lost approx 150 lbs before I went to see Dr. Haupt and his wonderful team. Over the course of two years he performed an arm lift and lipo. Next was a tummy tuck and panniculectomy. After that I had a thighplasty and bra extrusion. Before each procedure, I had consultations in which cost and expectations were discussed. I never felt like the consultations were rushed. I was able to ask questions and received clear answers. Each time both the pros and cons were presented honestly and completely, which I really valued. Throughout the course of my time as his patient I felt at ease and calm both before and after each of my procedures. The care I received from this team always felt personal and caring. Dr. Haupt is a perfectionist who gave me amazing results. Because of the length of my incisions on my arms, they were incredibly proactive in ensuring proper care with the minor complications I encountered. I just want to thank he and his entire staff, including, of course, his surgical staff. I especially loved Alysha and Britney. Cannot recommend highly enough!
I had an implant deflate at almost nine years. It made for an awkward six weeks as it slowly deflated, but I ultimately made the decision to remove without a lift. Initially I didn’t question getting new implants, but my boyfriend suggested the idea of just removal. I’m so thankful that he did for several reasons. The cost is outrageous for these surgeries- In Idaho, the cost for just removal (8k) was more expensive than removal and a brand new set of implants (5k). After considering the cost, pain, downtime, and future costs, I decided removal was the most reasonable option for me (although I had many internal struggles with the undetermined size of my post-removal breasts, which were AA before surgery), even though I had struggles with justifying the cost of any surgery. I don’t have it in me to pay $8000 for implants and waste my vacation time every 10 years. I hope to have kids one day and I can’t see myself paying for cosmetic surgery once I have those little burdens running around. Upon researching surgeons in other areas, I learned about local anesthetic removal, which is not an option in my city, and that made my decision easy. Extremely reasonable price ($1200), minimal downtime, and virtually no pain. I went to Utah Cosmetic Surgery in Murray, Utah and I am very pleased with my results and would highly recommend Dr. Haupt. They stated that my ego would hurt worse than the surgery and they were spot on. I even went thrift shopping an hour after surgery. The surgery took about one hour and it was a breeze. I am two weeks post surgery. Although I am very happy with my decision, I’m hoping that these ladies even out soon so I can feel “normal.” I chose to remove only implant and leave capsules, because I figured I needed all the help I could get with the size of my breasts. They are small, as expected, probably not even a B cup, but I’m very happy that I don’t have to have surgery in the future or set aside funds for another procedure. I love being able to say that I am all natural and I do still feel beautiful, even with my little ladies!
In 2005 I decided to do a breast augmentation. I visited 4 surgeons before finding Dr. Scott Haupt. I was ready to give up on my dream because the other surgeons didn’t make me feel comfortable. However, Dr. Haupt and his team put me completely at ease. He listened to all of my concerns and gave me his advice. Since then I have seen Dr. Haupt for additional procedures. What I like the most about him is that he really cares about his patients. Sometimes I would ask him to do something for me and he would recommended that I wait the procedure and he would give me several options. I know that this doesn’t happen with other surgeons, they only care about the money they can make from you. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Haupt. If you want a sincere opinion for the procedure your looking to do. Dr. Haupt and his team are so great. Every time I go there I feel at home.
I saw Dr. Haupt after having cosmetic surgery in mexico. I had complications from my surgery in mexico, my breast wounds came wide open and Dr Haupt agreed to see me. He was wonderful and helped me heal correctly.
I have always wanted to get breast augmentation surgery. In high school I had a good sized chest and then three kids later, combined with a very active lifestyle, my chest was pretty non-existent. I researched for a long time before finding Utah Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. R. Scott Haupt has every requirement that I was looking for. After reading about his credentials I knew I had found my guy. His office staff was nothing short of amazing. Every email, phone-call and in-person interaction was great. They all made me feel so confident in everything that was going on. Stacey helped me at my pre-op appointment and she was so informative. I picked a 385cc, high profile plus, textured silicone round implant. The simulator machine they use at the pre-op is so cool. It shows a 3D image of what your body will look like with the size that you choose. The day of my surgery the people there were awesome and I was so impressed with everyone involved. The anesthesiologist was great and the woman helping made me feel so comfortable, I think her name was Jill and his was Jared. Dr. Haupt is such a funny guy and he’s so positive and fun to be around. The best part about my BAM was the results. I’m three weeks post-op and I love how my body looks. I have always been active and my body has been lacking one thing... not anymore. Thanks so much to everyone at Utah Cosmetic Surgery. I will continue to see Dr. Haupt every few weeks for awhile. It’s been fun to get to know so many people who truly care about me. Updated on 7 Jan 2018: The hardest part about surgery has been taking a break from the gym. I am getting better every day and even though it will be weeks before I am back to my regular routine I would do it again a million times. I feel so much more confident in a sports bra now! I don’t look like a 15 year old boy anymore!! Not to mention how much more toned my legs and butt are because of my limited workout options! Win win. Updated on 22 Jan 2018: Five weeks post op. I’m going bra shopping this week. Still slowly getting back into my gym routine. Loving my results! Updated on 7 Feb 2018: I FINALLY HIT 8 WEEKS! The doctor told me that most everything would feel close to normal at 8 weeks. I feel like myself for sure!! Today I played basketball with my team for the first time and it was amazing! (I coach teenage girls) I was able to do arms at the gym yesterday with no pain. (light of course) I really wondered for a minute if i would ever be able to do all the things I did before. If you are at that point just hang in there!! My scars are being up nice and the swelling has gone down quite a bit. Updated on 24 Apr 2018: Simulation and post op photos Updated on 24 Apr 2018: Before and after Updated on 24 Apr 2018: In my photos you’ll notice some horizontal scars on my right breast and some other random scars on my right chest. I have struggled with cutting most of my adult life. My chest was a huge target because I was so embarrassed about it. Now I view those scars much differently. They are a part of my story. I look at them and see how far I’ve come. Updated on 30 Apr 2018: It’s weird how I keep having moments where I feel like they are exactly how they will stay and I like them the best that very day BUT then it gets better. I feel like they have continually became more of a part of me and I am so happy with them. Updated on 7 May 2018: Next week will be my six month mark! I’m so happy with my results. Can’t wait for summer! Updated on 11 Jul 2018: Just about to my seven month mark since surgery. I’m enjoying the summer and being able to wear a bikini with confidence. Not only a bikini but lingerie, something I’ve never been able to do. Everything feels normal and like they have always been a part of me. I can do everything as before at the gym. I’m so glad that I decided to get the surgery! Updated on 27 Dec 2018: They have dropped a little more now and are less hard. Summer has been fun. No more embarrassing swimsuit drama. Updated on 27 Dec 2018: It’s been a heck of a year. If I could give anyone advice about getting breast augmentation it would be to GET IT DONE! Study your doctor. Study your procedure. Know what size and shape will work best for you. Not what you just want, you need to know what will work best for YOU. Everyone is different and the size and shape will be different for everyone. Study what can happen if you go too big and make sure you don’t go smaller than what you want. Learn what diff shapes and profiles look like on REAL PEOPLE. Not just the round or pear shaped inserts. Study what they look like inside the body. Do it for you, and nobody else. Get it BELOW THE MUSCLE! Be prepared for lots of changes. Especially at the gym if you are a gym rat like me. Don’t expect it to be a quick procedure with no downtime because your body needs that rest. Don’t look for “the best price” because you get what you pay for and this is your body. Pay a little extra and you won’t regret it. I have had ZERO issues and my doctor has been 100% available for any questions I might have. My one year appointment was a great celebration of the BREAST DAY EVER!
Dr. Haupt preformed a breast augmentation on me 1.5 years ago and I could not be more happy with my results!!!! I breastfed three kids and my poor boobs had gone through war and they are super perky and beautiful now. He was very professional and I absolutely praise him as a surgeon!!! He’s amazing!!!!
Liposuction is best for isolated pockets of fat out side the muscle, fascia, and bone. That's were we can get to it and remove it safely. The visceral fat inside the muscles of he abdomen is off limits to removal. The visceral fat is what makes most peoples abdomen more rounded. This round appearance will still be there after liposuction or a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty). I always suggest that weight loss first is the best option to get the best result. You will be much more proud of yourself for having the perseverance to lose weight. If one is accepting that they are unlikely to lose any weight and can accept a rounder appearance to the abdomen then the combination liposuction and abdominoplasty is the best option. It still can give great results. Good luck.
There are three options with massive weight loss for abdominal contouring. But first, your weight should be stable for 4-6 months, and have adequate blood volume (hermatocrit) and B-12 levels. The options are:1. corset trunkplasty. It gives a sideway H scar under the breast, along the lower abdomen and down the midline, but is the best for removing the greatest amount of tissue on the abdomen.2. Fleur de Lis abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck). It is an anchor shape scar down the midline and along the bottom of the abdomen. It is still good for large weight loss, but doesn't bring the sides in as well.3. Traditional abdominoplasty. It has a scar in the lower abdomen. Like a lamp shade if you pull in down and cut off the lower half it does remove a lot of the lower excess skin, and usually a little more skin can be removed in the lower half than the other procedures, but if not enough mid abdominal skin or side skin is removed then another procedure later on may be needed. All three are acceptable and depends on your goals. An exam will help you determine what is best for you.
Ultherapy is a device that stimulates collagen reproduction. Collagen is a natural occurring protein in our body that gives the skin structure.Things like unprotected sun exposure, pollution, bad health habits, and unbalanced hormones can break collagen down more quickly. It takes about 3 to 6 months to see the full effect from Ultherapy. Results from Ultherapy can last a year or longer but the aging process will still continue to take place. You will be speeding up that process if you aren't taking care of your skin after the procedure. So things like yearly maintenance Ultherapy treatments, eating better, applying an antioxidant serum, and wearing a broad spectrum SPF will keep your skin looking it's best for a longer period of time.
Unfortunately Ultherapy wouldn't help to narrow your nose. Ultherapy is used to boost collagen, so it is best in places like around the eyes, cheeks, neck and decollate.
It is highly unlikely that Ultherapy is causing your increased hair loss. We have never had a patient with that complaint in our office before. Ultrasound energy is very safe. I would recommend that you see your primary care physician to rule out any other health issues that might be causing the hair loss.
