I had a non-surgical rhinoplasty (nose filler) by Dr. Cory Torgerson over 1.5 years ago after seeing another great review on Realself. The results were more than I could've asked for. He smoothed my bump and raised the tip so that it longer drooped when I smiled. He also made sure to inject the filler in a way that fixed the slight crookedness of my nose. I felt that he took his time to answer my questions and give me the result that I wanted. I expected that the filler would absorb over time and the tip would return to its prior position. However, I'm surprised that the shape still looks decent and the bump is barely noticeable. I spent a lot of time researching because the nose is a high risk area for fillers. It's really important to choose someone who understands the vascular anatomy and regularly performs this procedure. From a safety and aesthetic point of view, I'm pleased with Dr. Torgerson's work and will be returning to him for fillers in my chin this month.
I went to see Dr. Cory Togerson after having two bad rhinoplasty surgeries. The first was done in London, England with a dishonest surgeon, which resulted in a crooked nose with a bump on top that my family and friends noticed. The second was done in Toronto, Canada (I did not do proper research on good rhinoplastic surgeons). The only thing he wanted to do was to fix the bump. My nose after the operation was still crooked and looked like a sausage. When I told him that it is crooked, he said I was looking too much into it and that the revision rhinoplasty surgery took 4 exhausting hours. He did not care about the esthetics of my nose, he just seemed to worry about making money. I could not believe it. I have been extremely sad and depressed after paying so much money for this operation. Having a crooked nose and not being able to take pictures of my face has been dispiriting. It has been a very painful journey of almost two years. However, I decided to go last week to see the amazing Dr. Cory Togerson. He is a blessing. I told him I am very disheartened and want to have a non-surgery rhinoplasty with fillers to be able to have my nose back, my life back. Immediately Dr. Cory assessed my face and he took pictures and put the injectable fillers. He was so nice, understanding, touching my nose in a way that he wanted me to feel that I have a proper symmetric nose. Afterwards, he gave me the mirror and I could not stop smiling. He fixed the bad crooked nose that I had. I am very grateful to Dr Cory. I can now look myself in the mirror, take pictures and be happy again being around people. This is a true story that I wanted to share with you. After bad experiences, it is important to understand that we deserve empathetic doctors who care about the esthetics and make us feel confident in life. Dr Cory is the best and I am going to have a revision rhinoplasty with him as the fillers will fade after a year. He makes you feel secure that you are in his hands at 100%. Thank you Dr Cory I am extremely grateful to you.
I’m now only 2 months post revision rhinoplasty and I couldn’t be happier with my results! Dr T fixed all the concerns I had from my surgery with a different surgeon. He gave me such a cute natural looking nose and I’m obsessed with it. I can’t thank him or his staff enough for being so kind! They really take care of you here and its really made this experience 10x easier. I’m so so grateful!
Asian rhinoplasties are difficult and most people go out of country, so I was so important to me to find a doctor that understood my needs. He did an AMAZING job! I absolutely love it, and love his team. Plastic surgery is an art form within medicine, not some sort of copy and paste. I honestly did not like the Vector 3D imaging that was done (maybe cause my nose was flat and wide, it's difficult to project changes), but trusted Torgerson from right from the beginning - compared to other doctors. I didn't know what my nose was going to look like going in, to be brutally honest; but I trusted the process. Definitely love the man and his work.
Hi, I am a female in my 20s and really wanted the buckle fat removal as I had a lot of cheeks. This was my first major plastic surgery procedure so I was very scared. They attended to my needs Mary much be by email, and in person. I felt very relieved in any situation I was put in. The location itself is beautiful and Kept very clean. The staff was overly nice and I personally couldn’t have asked for anything better. Consult an Alyssa was the person I first ta kept very clean. The staff was overly nice and I personally couldn’t have asked for anything better. If you guys go here make sure to talk to consultant ALISA!!! She was amazing to be around. Her energy is so enthusiastic and very much for relieving makes you feel very comforted. Although I do not have my full results as of yet I will definitely be going back to this location solely based on the treatment I received.
I had been searching for a treatment for a rare disease that causes lesions on my face resulting in horrible scaring. I hesitantly decided to try Fraxel to help with my scarring. I had a wonderful appointment with Anna of Dr. Torgerson's office. The results are more than I could ever hope for. The new lesions on my face have lessened and scaring has improved significantly!! After one or two more treatments, I think the deepest of scars will be gone!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
When I was first researching surgeons in the GTA area for Rhinoplasty, Dr. Torgerson was one of the first surgeons to catch my attention. I googled him so much until I finally decided to reach out to him and his team, and I am SO glad I did. From facetime call, in person meeting, phone calls, e-mails and surgery date... Dr. Torgerson and his team offered the upmost care, consistency, and professionalism. Dr. Torgerson is so confident in his work you just know and feel your results are going to be better than you could imagine. I was more excited for surgery than I was nervous because I was so confident that I chose the best surgeon and team for this procedure. What I liked most about walking into the operating room was the greeting of the surgical team, everyone introduced themselves, and every movement they made on my body prior to the anesthesia vocalized, and everyone made sure I was ready. After surgery, Dr. Torgerson personally came by to see how I was doing and even reached out personally the next day. That is a Doctor who cares. I cannot forget his wonderful consultant Breanne, what a doll! Breanne was the first person I interacted with prior to Dr. Torgerson, and she continued to be someone I reached out to constantly, even after surgery, Breanne also reached out to see how the recovery process is going. She is so sweet and down to earth, always ready to answer any question(s) and solve any issue to make sure Dr. Torgerson's patients are satisified. I strongly recommend anyone in the GTA, out of the country, from wherever... to Dr. Torgerson and his team. I can personally only speak from a Rhinoplasty experience but following Dr. Torgerson's social media, he is an extremely amazing Facial Cosmetic Surgeon. I couldn't have picked a better surgeon, I am so happy in my choice... I picked Dr. Torgerson almost instantly. You cannot go wrong. Dr. Torgerson fixed my biggest insecurity and uplifted my confidence. Updated on 24 Mar 2021: being 3 months into my post op, which is when healing really starts to take place I’ve decided to update my review. I am absolutely obsessed with my side profile & it’s not even the final result yet. It just makes me even more excited to see this through. I get asked all the time if it was worth the money & the recovery .. ABSOLUTELY YES. I am such a fan of Dr. Torgerson I talk about him maybe too much when I talk about my nose haha ! Have to remember the genius behind the work !
Dr. Torgerson is an expert in rhinoplasty surgery. Breanne the director of client services reached out to me personally to ensure I was healing, along with Dr. Torgerson the day after my surgery. The office has amazing nurses and front desk staff. The office is also very stylish. I especially enjoyed the box water post-operatively.
Hi, I went in for my third chemical peel with Alise and I LOVE the results. Alise is so professional, friendly and knows her stuff. My skin looks AMAZING. Although I went in for my third peel, I'm going in again this week just for maintenance because I love the results. I love it so much I recommended 2 of my friends and they LOVE their results too. Highly recommend!!
I've been seeing doctor Torgerson for well over a year for small touch ups. I recently had a mini facelift and this is where his professionalism and bedside manner really shine. His staff was available to me day or night and really treated me like a VIP. Doctor Torgerson is a genius in the operating room. I look and feel better than I could have hoped. Its been a life changing experience and I would definitely recommend doctor Torgerson he is truly the best!!
Everything appears as it should. It is impossible to confirm graft count by looking at these pictures. But if you ask the doctor they will be able to look at the operative report and confirm the graft count. The number on the medical record must be the amount that was transplanted.
Your donor area looks good enough to cover another FUE hair transplant. I would highly suggest that you come up with a solid hair restoration plan at this stage. Make sure that you are also including other treatments to prevent future loss such as Finasteride. And add a good PRP treatment to restore the hair that you still have.
At 10 days post-op, you should have reason to be concerned. As long as you did not notice bleeding in the area, you should be fine. It is important that you let the doctor that performed the procedure know and see what they say.
You are always best suited to wait the full year before judging the success of a transplant. At 5 months, you are just at the early growth stages. If you have concerns, it is best to discuss with the doctor that performed the procedure to see what options are available.
I highly recommend using Finasteride as it will help you to stop losing more hair. Minoxidil is hard for most people to keep up with because it does need to be used 2 times per day. You also should not use Minoxidil for at least 1 month following a hair transplant.
