The part that is exposed under the clitoral hood only a very small portion of your clitoris. Also the size does not determine how sexually satisfied you are. I suggest you consult a gynecologist. Discuss your concerns and have an exam.

The size of your clitoris has nothing to do with sensitivity. Zero. Any expert in these procedures knows this. Making the hood smaller will create constant pain that cannot be fixed afterwards. You require a physical exam to make any recommendations beyond this.

Thank you for your question. There is no surgical method to increase the size of your clitoris, but there are a few procedures that can increase sensitivity. One is called the O Shot - it is an injection of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) directly into the clitoris to help enhance orgasmic response.

Thanks for your question. There are hormonal treatments that can affect the size of clitoris. The male hormone testosterone can increase the size of clitoris. There therapies are very complex and not in the domain of work of a plastic surgeon. Your obstetric and gynaecology doctor is the best person to start this process with they might also use the help of an endocrinologist (glands and hormones specialist). If you have extra tissue on your clitoral hood, it can be reduced. If your clitoral hood is thick, wide, and protuberant. It can be decreased somewhat by reducing the sides. I invented a clitoropexy with clitoral hood reduction in which the clitoris is pushed closer to the pubic bone and the width, thickness, length, and protuberance of the clitoral hood can be decreased. I have performed this procedure over 300 times with excellent results. If your hood is very large or buries your clitoris, then it can decrease the
stimulation. A properly performed clitoral hood reduction will not over-expose your clitoris but eliminate the extra skin that can interfere with stimulation. An O-shot or stem cell injection may improve sensation but it is still considered investigational.

I would strongly recommend a thorough evaluation by an experienced board certified gynecologist to carefully evaluate you and discuss your concerns. This is unlikely a problem of anatomy, and I would avoid a clitoral hood reduction (which would not be reversible), until there is a high level of certainty that it would help you.

hi, in clitoral hood reduction surgery. The clitoris is not interfered with. The skin folds around the clitoris, which we call the foreskin, are intervened. A part of the foreskin is removed. The foreskin acts as a barrier between you and your partner. Since this barrier will disappear after this surgery, it may be easier to be aroused during sexual intercourse and the quality of orgasm may increase. this probability is between 15% and 35%.

You might be disappointed with the results of clitoral hood reduction if you already have reduced sensation to your clitoris. By exposing your clitoris more (after hood reduction), you might have more stimulation by underwear or clothes, etc. That stimulation over time actually might desensitize your clitoris. You might consider the O shot, which has some effect in patients.

Consider the option of double spin PRP, as described on the technique for the O-Shot by Dr. Runels. Although there its a paucity of medical evidence, it can be used in combination with extracorporeal low intensity shockwave therapy to the clitoris. Of course, consider surgery with a surgeon familiarized with microsurgical technique for this procedure.
