Dr. Alter truly changed my life and restored my confidence in a way I will always be grateful for. Prior to seeing him, I had been advised by another physician to take a very high dose of testosterone due to severely low levels, which unfortunately caused significant and distressing side effects. I felt confused, overwhelmed, and honestly embarrassed about my situation. From the moment I walked into Dr. Alter’s office, I felt welcomed and at ease. Before even beginning the exam, he sat with me in his office for 35–40 minutes simply talking with me. I believe he could sense how nervous and upset I was, and he took the time to make me feel comfortable, heard, and supported. That level of compassion meant more to me than I can express. After the exam, he gave me his honest and realistic opinion about what could be done. He was transparent, thoughtful, and reassuring. The results surpassed my expectations and truly gave me my confidence back. The care I received didn’t stop there. Dr. Alter and his staff checked on me daily after surgery. I felt like I had 24/7 support. Their bedside manner is truly 100/10. I have never felt so well cared for by a physician and medical team. At every visit, Dr. Alter was kind, patient, and thorough. He answered every question and concern I had, and I always left feeling reassured. Farnoush and Caitlin were incredibly caring and sweet. They answered all of my questions even when I asked the same ones repeatedly with patience and kindness every single time. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Alter to anyone. The experience, the care, and the results were absolutely worth every penny.

Dr. Alter is an absolute legend. I’m so grateful my OB-GYN referred me to him. First, his staff is incredible. Farnoush and Caitlin are both wonderful. Farnoush helped me so much leading up to surgery. I had a lot of questions and tons of anxiety, but she was always patient and very responsive. The minute I met Dr. Alter, I knew I was in the right place. I had already done my research, but sitting with him in person just confirmed everything. Even though I felt a little shy and vulnerable talking about something so personal, he made me feel completely comfortable and confident in my decision. I had my surgery on December 12 and now that I’m two months out, I feel confident sharing my experience. The surgery itself was smooth. I didn’t love the recovery area post surgery (no privacy, loud, other patients) but i wasn’t there very long before I was sent home. The first week you definitely need to rest and just get through it but after that my recovery was honestly much easier than I expected. I’ve had zero complications and healed beautifully. I had read so many horror stories from other women about bad experiences and traumatic recoveries and mine was nothing like that. All of my follow-up appointments have been great so far. Dr. Alter truly is an expert. The results look incredible and most importantly, completely natural. It honestly looks like I was born this way. You can’t put a price on that level of expertise and peace of mind.

Dr. Alter saved me. I had a botched labiaplasty/perineoplasty back in 2022. The doctor was an OBGYN who falsely represented her qualifications and actually had no training in plastics, so performed the trim technique like a 2 year old using scissors for the first time. Don’t even get me started on her upselling the surgery in the first place - DO NOT GO TO AN OBGYN FOR THIS SURGERY! Dr. Alter literally invented the wedge technique, which is now used by all the best quality surgeons. He was able to correct the scalloped edges of my labia as well as replace a large part of the amputated labia to perfection. The people in his surgical room took such excellent care of me and even the anesthesiologist was so kind and cozy. His office staff are really lovely as well. After I returned home (this was an out of town procedure) Dr. Alter made himself available via text and was great about answering my questions ASAP. You shouldn’t even waste your time searching for someone else. Dr. Alter is the best. I couldn’t recommend him more.

I was previously botched by a well known surgery in Texas. He left me completely amputated and altered my hood without my consent. Dr. Alter had very little skin to work with but be executed well and fixed it beyond what I thought could be done. I am very happy with my results. I was in zero pain after the surgery (also did a perineoplasty). I took no pain killers and didn’t even need Tylenol. The entire surgery was a miracle. I am completely restored and I am so thankful for his skillset. If you are considering Dr. Alter over others who might be more affordable, I suggest saving and having it done right. He was also very responsive over email once I flew back home and had a few questions about recovery. I am fully healed now and things amazing. Thank you, Dr. Alter & staff!

I had my labia reconstruction on April 5th, and I couldn’t be happier or more grateful. It was worth every penny! This was my third surgery my first one was botched, my second was done with Dr. Miklos and Moore they were able to reconstruct one side, but the other side separated. I truly wish I had found Dr. Alter after my first botched surgery, or even before any of them. Either way, I’m beyond pleased with my results and the entire experience! For anyone on the fence about fixing a botched surgery, I completely understand your frustration. It took me over 8 years to finally feel comfortable enough to get mine corrected. Now, I have little to no discomfort, and I finally feel like I look normal again. I will include pictures of my original botched surgery, second reconstruction surgery and final results with Dr Alter!!

I've just had a labiaplasty revision, majoraplasty, and perineoplasty done by Dr. Alter. I am so glad I decided to go to the best, and I wish I would have worked with him from the start! He was so kind, caring and funny and all of his staff were so kind to me too. Im only 2 dpo and can already see that the results are what I was hoping for, and I'm not in pain anymore just some discomfort. We originally were planning to do 2 seperate surgeries, but he worked out a plan to get it all done in 1 so I wouldn't have to travel a second time. Could not say enough good things about Dr. Alter and his team!

Dear Dr. Alter and Team, I am home from my surgery (it is Sunday morning , my surgery was late Friday....and, I live 4 hours away from Beverly Hills). I feel great! Very slight discomfort - just need a Tylenol. It is amazing to me that I was able to wake up from surgery feeling great! No pain. The pre-process was made possible by Farnoush and Caitlin (given my pre-op labs and tests were out of town, these ladies made sure all got done and the process went smoothly). The assistance with getting a CNA to pick me up from surgery and watch me until I was okay to be alone was also extremely helpful. Thank you. The day of the surgery, everyone made me feel extremely comfortable! Dr. T (my anesthesiologist) was a real pro - I didn't feel the needle at all!!!!! The nurses were friendly and helpful....doing everything to make me comfortable. Next thing I knew, I was awake being taken care of by Donna. She made sure I had no nausea, I had crackers, I had water, anything I needed. Dr. Alter is a real pro! He is kind, warm, and has an ease and confidence. Anyone contemplating surgery with him should take a deep breath and know that they are in the hands of a brilliant doctor. He is also considerate. I am able to be home this morning because he is respectful and thoughtful (he squeezed my post-op evaluation on a Saturday). I am already so happy with the results!!!!
