I have been performing gynecological surgery for over 30 years, specializing in labiaplasty and vaginal reconstruction for over 15 years. Almost all women experience some degree of damage to their vagina, whether due to childbirth, aging, or genetics. Labiaplasty (a plastic surgery procedure that alters the labia minora and, often, the labia majora) and vaginoplasty (which improves structural weakness of the vaginal entrance or canal) are often combined, to deliver optimal results. Together, these surgical procedures can help restore self-esteem, correct urinary incontinence, strengthen the vaginal canal, and increase sexual pleasure. At my Deerfield Beach, Florida practice, we also offer ThermiVa, a nonsurgical option for rejuvenation. ThermiVa uses radiofrequency energy to firm and refresh the vaginal tissues, providing better bladder support while increasing moisture and sensation.
