I am so very thankful that Jennifer Adams performed my labiaplasty and labial reconstruction. I experienced a labial tear during the birth of my daughter years ago and unfortunately the repair failed and I had a hole on one side of my labia that was problematic. I had received a referral from my family doctor to another obgyn to repair the issue but after meeting with that doctor I had concerns about how the procedure was going to be performed and how I would look afterward. That is when I started researching and found Dr. Adams, and I am incredibly happy that I did. Dr. Adams was able to reconstruct the side of my labia with the hole and preserve a lot of the tissue. Despite the issue, she was able to make both sides symmetrical and generally improve the appearance. It is very clear that she highly skilled as a surgeon. If I had opted to have the surgery performed by the other obgyn, I’m quite certain that I would not have had a good outcome. Dr. Adams was great at walking me through how she would approach the procedure and she was also amazing at ensuring my post operative recovery went well. Again, I am truly so thankful for Dr. Adams and with my outcome.

My experience with Dr. Adam’s and at the clinic couldn’t have been better. The whole team made me feel at ease, comfortable, and welcomed the entire time. I was nervous, but knew I was in good hands and could trust and relax. Dr. Adam’s was attentive, walked through the entire process with me, and answered all questions I had. During the procedure itself I felt no pain or discomfort. I am about three weeks post op and everything is looking and feeling amazing. I have had a super easy recovery so far, with no complications. I travelled from BC for the procedure. It was comforting to know many patients travel to see Dr. Adams and she is familiar with what helps make the travel process easier. Highly recommend!

Dr. Adam’s was absolutely amazing and I am so glad I chose her to be my surgeon! The entire process was very intimidating at first but after my first phone call I immediately felt so much more comfortable. She takes her time and ensures that you leave with no questions unanswered. During the procedure her and the nurse were constantly checking in on me and making sure I was comfortable. I’ve been wanting a labiaplasty for the last four to five years. Childbirth change the size and appearance of my labia and as much as I tried to gain confidence in my body after childbirth I really struggled with the changes to my labia, despite my partners constant reassurance he loves me as I am. I finally decided to make the decision to have the surgery. I’m so thankful I found Dr Adams. She made me feel comfortable from the initial phone consultation all the way through. She listened to what I wanted and assured I was happy throughout the whole process. Surgery day was very calm, other than the start and end of the surgery it’s just you and Dr Adams, the nurse which assisted either side was warm and assuring. I laid and watched a film whilst the surgery was done. There was constant dialog between Dr Adams and I to assure I was comfortable. Recovery was comfortable, make sure you follow the instructions given. Lay up, ice, take pain relief and the lidocaine jelly is a saviour. This has been exactly what I wanted from the surgeon I chose to my post surgery labia :-D. You’ll be happy you chose Dr Adams too!!
