Are there any long term negative effects of getting a lip lift in your 30s? Wondering why they are so popular right now yet so few surgeons perform them? Is the technique challenging for most?
Answer: Lip lift sequelae The lip lift is an amazing operation. I performed five last week! It is now standard practice for most facelifts I do because the lip gets longer over time and the upper teeth disappear.In young patients with an excessive lip nose distance, the procedure can significantly enhance facial beauty and proportion.That being said, the technique is very very technique dependent. That is to say the results vary widely from surgeon to surgeon. Excessive resection should be avoided as it causes dog ears at the alar bases and visible scarring.

Answer: Lip lift long term effects. Lip lift long term effects. I have done lip lifts for 45 years. They give excellent results with no long-term negative effects. Various ages require different types of lip lifts in my opinion. See a very experienced lip lift surgeon who does many of these with natural results.

Answer: The lip lift involves lifting the central portion of the lip under the nose. We are seeing an evolving epidemic of distorted lips and faces as a consequence of this poorly thought out surgery. If you are suggestible, perhaps you will believe your surgeon and their staff that you look marvelous. But one day you may wake up and recognize that you have ruined you natural face with a surgery that pulls up the central lip and often makes an unhappy scar under the nose. Wake up and understand the long term consequences of these distorting surgeries. My two cents.
