Can I use hair products (gel, Clay, fiber, etc..) 5 months Post FUE? (Photo)

At this point the grafts are completely incorporated into the scalp and are the same as your untransplanted hair.Feel free to do whatever you want!

It is best to follow your surgeon's post surgery recommendations and instructions since all doctors have slightly different instructions.

It is completly safe to resume all normal activities 5 months post surgery as everything should be completely healed by now.  Using gels, hair spray or fibers wont affect anything.  I would recommend that you get with you Doctor to discuss post op maintenance theropy to keep exsisting hair strong and from thinning.

After 5 months post-op your grafts are solidly in place and growing normally. You are able to safely do anything to your hair and scalp that is safe for everyone else. Your transplant is now your new normal hair.

After two weeks post op you are able to use anything in your hair. The clinic that told you to wait a year was not correct.

At this point, you can use whatever products you may wish. The grafts are set by 10 days, although I'm cautious and tell my patients to wait until 2 weeks before using products on their hair. If there is any doubt, then my patients return at around 12 days after surgery for an evaluation.

At 5 months post surgery you can use and treat your hair as you would normally. Using scissors or clippers would not matter. 

I tell my patients that they are safe to do whatever they want with their hair after as soon as 2 weeks, most times after 1 month. I do however always suggest that you follow the directions of the doctor that performed the procedure because they have all of the necessary information to make the right decision. 

you can do what you like after all is healed. At five months post op you return to your normal routine and use any products. 

At 5 months, you can do whatever you like with regard to gels and other products to use on your hair as everything now should be normal
