Can I use hair products (gel, Clay, fiber, etc..) 5 months Post FUE? (Photo)

I’m going on 5 month post FUE. 1400 grafts. I’ve had GREAT early results. I’m in that “5%” who had growth immediately. My DR rec at time of FUE were no hair products (besides light hairspray) for 12 months. Am I ok using other products (fiber, clay, gel) since I’ve had such early growth? He also said scissor cut only in graft area for a year but I want to use my clippers and bring this down to 2 inches.
