I believe im within the norwood 5 to norwood 6 range. I have good donor area in the back as well as willing to use beard grafts too. I have a VERY thick and long growing beard that grows very fast so that is an option too. While i do like medium length to long length hair i also love shaved head look. But what stops me is the horse shoe pattern. I would like to get a hair transplant that can fill in enough that gives me a very nice looking full shaved head look without any horse shoe shadow
I had a 4000 graft transplant in 2020 and my hair grew out fine. I had a receding hairline and after the transplant I had a full head of hair. It was great for the first 4 years. The past year I noticed it started to shed a lot. I couldnt see my scalp after the transplant but right now my scalp is very noticeable. I tried PRP and it helped but now its shedding again. Only the transplanted area is shedding. The rest of my head is not. I am going through a lot of stress lately but if its stressed related then shouldnt all my hair shed and not just the transplanted area? Any advice or tips I can follow to regrow my hair?
Hello. I was writing in hopes to get an opinion on whether it is best to to have 2000 fue grafts done in one session, vs splitting them into two, 1000 unit sessions about 12 months apart. Will there be a greater chance of graft survival having the procedure split into two sessions (given less surgery time, easier graft placement, less trauma to scalp). Thank you so much for your help!
Hello, Im a 43 year old Caucasian male and I wanted to get an opinion on if the growth is where it should be, and why I have had folliculitis on and off almost a year later. I also had the prp w/exosome injections but that hasnt seemed to do much to help with growth, or help reverse gray hair like advertised. I would appreciate any help or advice. I have been looking at a lot of 10 month post fue pics and my growth looks like its definitely lagging.
Im a 32 years old male healthy , I had my hair transplant FUE 6 months and 2 weeks back due to hair loss , I have noticed after 6 months that my hair front from right side looks less denser than the left side. I visited my clinic again and after reviewing they suggested I do another limited session of transplant immediately for volume. Shall I go for it or give it upto 12 months to decide? Im currently using minoxidil since surgery according to them and instructions.
Hi. I'm considering getting a HT surgery but I'm having a concern; I work offshore on oil rigs and I often spend 30 days with my hard hat on for 6 - 8 hours a day, with also super sweaty head an scalp. Is it safe to get 1 or 2 months off for the surgery then get back to this routine? Also, I'm planning to leave this job in a year, would you recommend I wait till I leave this job completely then do the HT? or is it 100% safe if I just wait 1-2 months recovery then back to work?
My nephew is in his late 20's and has noticeable hair loss related to male pattern baldness (he still has some hair on top). I have encouraged him to see a Dermatologist and/or Trichologist about his hair loss. His concern is the genetic aspect of his hair loss will ultimately make the procedure unsuccessful. I understand the implants are permanent, yet there could be hair fall from the remaining hair and unsuccessful implanted follicles. What do I tell him?
