I am 28 years old and just had a FUE transplant 5 days ago. I have been taking Finasteride for several years though I give break of one to two months after continuously taking it for several months. I haven't taken it for more than a month now. I would like to re continue. Should i start taking it now or wait for some time? My doctor asked me to go for PRP and other methods but i would like to use Finasteride as it has done good for me.

Answer: Finasteride when I should I start after FUE?
It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen. Ingrown hairs and pimples can be an issue after FUE especially when some hairs are buried. Please contact your doctor.
If you are concerned please follow up with your doctor for an exam. This may or may NOT be normal. You may have had graft loss after surgery. In addition, not all the grafts may have take (failed grafts).
It may take 6 to 12 months to see the results of a hair transplant surgery. If you are concerned it is best to discuss it with your doctor. If you are considering another procedure, you should wait to see the results of your first procedure before moving forward.
