Michael Meshkin, MD - Account Suspended

I underwent an FUT procedure with Dr. Meshkin 3 weeks ago, and it's no surprise that he and his staff are so well-known in this industry. Dr. Meshkin himself never tried to sell me on anything that I didn't need, and he made sure that I understood every part of the procedure before we began. Dr. Meshkin and his staff are very professional and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the procedure and were readily available to answer all of my questions, even weeks after the procedure was done; Dr. Meshkin himself called me in the evening after my procedure was done to checkup on me, which was very kind of him to do. Overall I'm very pleased with the procedure and I look forward to posting an updated review with my final results in the coming months.

I had my surgery in early May 2019 and it went very smooth. I had no pain at all during the surgery and it took about 7 hours but the time went very fast. They gave me some medications before the surgery so I could relax. I was almost half asleep during the surgery and did not feel any pain. He really has a good talented team. I first interviewed Dr. Meshkin 5 years ago and it took me 5 years to research, interview, and look for surgeons and I even considered going to Turkey and Louisiana but at the end, I decided to select Dr. Meshkin because for some reason I felt he was the best among all surgeons that I interviewed. Now almost 2.5 months after the surgery and I am so happy that I selected him. No regret at all. I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Meshkin is excellent. The transplant went smoothly and so far results are great! I cannot speak for everybody, but I did not experience any pain during the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Meshkin.

Great experience. very knowledgeable with 20 plus years of experience.the consultation was free and Dr Meshkin provided all the information you need to learn and will recommend the best treatment. the doctor and his team are very friendly. the procedure lasted 5 hours and it was very smooth. the doctor personally called me that night to ensure everything was ok. all the instructions were handed to me in an organized file. I look forward to the follow ups and results in a few months. highly recommended.

The office is conveniently located and the staff was very helpful. Dr. Meshkin is an excellent physician. He was honest and professional. I highly recommend him for anyone interested in hair restoration!

My experience with this doctor has been phenomenal! The doctor gets straight to the point and will let you what's the best solution for you. Results so far have been delivered as promised by the doctor, and last but not least the customer service is great in assisting with all of the pre and post-op info.

I'm 31 and just had my 14 day follow today with Dr. Meshkin, I'm so pleased with him and his staff that i had to share my experience.

I've been losing hair for a long time and it came to a point where my self image was starting to get the better of me. I've been interviewing doctors since 2013 in the Los Angeles/Orange County/San Diego areas and i set an appt with Ana in July (2018) and she was amazing. I loved the way she explained things to me and meeting with Dr Meshkin was what sealed the deal. It was easy talking to him and he gave it to me like it was, from what i had in the donor area to what he thought would be the best way to approach my hairline. He suggested 2500 grafts and that with my donor area that i could potentially have 2 more procedures in the future if need be.

Fast forward to 2 weeks ago (Nov 16th at 7:30am), i went in with my family and had them explain each thing to do after the surgery from washing, medication etc. and they make sure my family was involved in asking questions. Dr. Meshkin then let them come into the room before everything began and answered even more questions, his mannerism was spot on, i felt so comfortable at that point and the way he drew the line and measurements on my head were pretty cool to see. It's definitely an art. After the surgery, my family took me home and i've been doing everything him and staff instructed. It's vital to follow it exactly (which i did) and fast forward to 2 weeks for my post op follow up today (Nov 30th) and i already love what I see. The scar in the back is healing well and almost gone, the top of my head is nice and healing well too.

Pictures from exactly 1 month (Dec 16th), has been a steady push forward, been working out daily at the gym and most of the hairs have fallen out but I can feel baby hairs when rub my hand on the area.

The scar on the back is healing well, i can feel it slowly going away but it itches sometimes and gets red so i put neosporin to cool it down.

I had 3000 graphs via FUT and I continue to do PRP therapy for growth and density. I am one year post op today. I promised myself I would write a review after the 1 year mark to really understand the full results. I loved working with Dr. Meshkin. Before my surgery I did a lot of research. I had 4 consultations with 4 different doctors. They all said the same thing; I was a good candidate and required about 3000 grafts. I finally decided on Dr. Meshkin because of the ease of the consultation, the affordability compared to others, and his years of experience. I consulted for both FUE and FUT options. I finally opted for FUT after seeing some of the results Dr Meshkin showed me, with minimal scaring. The morning of the surgery I had everything explained to me. We worked on my hairline the morning of the surgery and I was ready. The surgery went really well. That night the doctor called me to check on me personally. We spoke and he advised me how I need to follow the directions they had provided. The first 10 days post op were the critical part to ensure I don’t pull out any of the graphs. Pain was minimal. My scar inched a little. No infections and no large concerns. I did have some questions during my post op and I was able to text the nurse and office manager to get the doctor to answer my questions. They replied so quickly! My post op appointments were so easy to make. I never had any issues with his office. They always Call for my follow ups. FUT scar; Dr Meshkin explain that he had perfected his scaring technique to make scaring minimal. My wife is a nurse and my mother is a professional cosmetologist who has been cutting my hair since childhood. Neither my wife nor my mother can find my scar, even when they look for it. The scaring is so minimal, it’s nearly impossible to find. This was the bet decisions I ever made. Dr Meshkin has really mastered the art of hair transplants and I am happy I choose him as my doctor.

I went to another office for a hair transplant and had a bad experience. I did more research and found Dr Meshkin, did more research and went in for a consultation. He was very nice! The staff and the office as well. I am having great result. The doctor has 20 years experience in this procedures and his workers just make you feel very welcomed and know what they are doing!

When I called Dr. Meshkin, he was very clear about the procedure and what he was going to do( or what I wanted). The process and the professional treatment of Dr. Meshkin and his staff was outstanding. I am seeing the great result after 5 months( I believe it will be even better in a few months). I am very happy with the results so far.
