A dermatologist had a holiday sale for 2 syringes of voluma for the price of one . When he was getting ready to inject me I noticed he already had the filler in a syringe sitting on a side table . How do I know he used 2 syringes total that I paid for ?
Answer: Filler Injections I always open the box of filler in front of my patients so that they can see that the product is the genuine filler direct from the manufacturer. I would consider it a red flag if someone did not. If you have any doubts do not be afraid to discuss with your injector. Best wishes.

Answer: Filler The filler comes prepackaged in a box, however many injectors will prepare by removing the syringes from the box prior to the patient coming back to the room for efficiency. You can speak to your injector about your concerns. Each treatment should be documented in your patient record.

Answer: Dermal Filler Some different brands of filler contain 2ml in the 1 syringe. However, if you are unsure you could always ask to see the syringe when you are there. Warm Regards, Dr Glenn Murray, Absolute Cosmetic Medicine

Answer: Getting what you paid for! Hi there. Thanks for your question. I do a mix of prep in the lab and in my room. But I would never be offended if a patient were asking about the filler syringes! Especially since it's often out of curiosity and I can then have that opportunity to educate! FYI, one syringe of most fillers (Radiesse being the exception) are 1mL of product. Now, every clinic does things differently and while many will tell you "you use it or you lose it", some will save you extra filler that you have paid for (there is no FDA approval to do this). So, if you paid for 2mL and your provider injected 1.8mL and you didn't NEED any of that leftover filler, it may have just gone in the trash. Feel free to ask your injector questions. Many of us love to educate and we all want you to be comfortable with what's going on with your face! Best, @DrKatNP.trilogy

Answer: Dermal fillers When injecting dermal fillers I always open the boxes in front of my patients. I also let them know exactly which filler(s) I am using. If you were expecting 2 syringes of product than 2 syringes should have been placed on the tray. You should discuss your concerns with your provider.
