How can I make my nostrils less noticeable? (photo)

6735anon
I had a primary rhino/ septoplasty in 2009. I was pretty pleased with the result, but now I feel I would benefit from my nostrils being made less flared. My doctor did not touch them during the surgery, I believe he was being conservative because I had a very wide nose to begin with and he wasn't sure how it would heal. I'm not sure exactly how this surgery works, although I have done some research on the internet, I would like a professional opinion...
