3 months after my rhinoplasty i was trying to get some mucus out of my nose, i've been useing qtips to get rid of the mucus and has worked wonders so far, but recently(3 days ago) i removed a mucus that looked like a piece of cartilage, i even touched it and it felt weird, so here's my question, could i by accident removed a loose piece of cartilage from my right nostril?

Because your corrective surgery is related to your cleft lip it may be covered by insurance. Most insurance companies will cover this through age 18. Talk to your Surgeon's office about seeking authorization for coverage. It will depend on the company and the type of policy you have now.
Thank you for your question. By the third week the nose is almost ninety percent as strong as it was before surgery. It is unlikely that the injury you described will cause any lasting damage. The puffiness you see should resolve on its own.
