How strong is the cartilage in the nose six weeks after Rhinoplasty?

Dear doctors, six weeks after rhino my boyfriend accidentaly poked me hard with his finger on the right side of the nose, under the nose bone. It hurt a bit. Since then my right side has seemed more puffy than the left side. I'm worried that the cartilage could have been damaged. I've been very careful since the surgery. I've discussed this with the doctor and he said that the nose can not damage so easily. But still i'm a bit worried. Thanks to all the doctors who respond.
