Good afternoon. After injury/surgery to the nose, it can become REALLY swollen, and this swelling can take a LONG TIME to resolve (up to 1-2 years to fully resolve). The swelling typically peaks about 72 hours after injury/surgery. After that, it progressively improves, with most swelling gone by 2-3 months. Some minimal swelling can linger for up to 2 years though. You can keep your head elevated as much as possible for the first month postop, but otherwise just give things time. I constantly remind all my rhinoplasty patients how important it is to be patient after rhinoplasty surgery as it can take months to even years to see what the final nose will look like. Hope this helps! Best, Dr. Donald Groves Plastic Surgeon

Thank you for your question. By the third week the nose is almost ninety percent as strong as it was before surgery. It is unlikely that the injury you described will cause any lasting damage. The puffiness you see should resolve on its own.
Hi,Rhinoplasty for bulbous tip in New York can go anywhere from about 6500 to 15000. It depends on which doctor you consult. But going to a more expensive doc doesn't necessarily mean you're getting the best surgery. Do some online research and try to look at results rather than media hype. ...
Hi there. I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well after your rhinoplasty. Headaches, especially in the area you describe, are not uncommon following this surgery. If the pain isn't manageable with your prescribed medicine or over-the-counter pain relievers, or if your headaches last for...
