How long do you need to wear your faja 24/7 after 360 Lipo?

Surgeons have many different protocols - from no compression at all, to compression for months along with lymphatic massage.
After undergoing Lipo 360, it is generally recommended to wear a compression garment (also known as a faja) 24/7 for at least 4 to 6 weeks. During the first few days following the surgery, most patients are instructed to wear the faja continuously, only removing it when showering. After the initial period, you may be allowed to take short breaks during the day, but it is essential to continue wearing it at night for several more weeks to support proper healing and optimize the results.

Thanks for your question. I tend to believe that a good compression garment really helps the outcome of the surgery. The intention of the garment should be to compress areas of lipo. I think its very important that the garment is used everyday and only removed when need to shower for up to 8 weeks. My patients have been very satisfied with how a garment can help the outcome. Thank you for your inquiry, each plastic surgeon has their own post op protocol howwver I suggest my patients wear a garment for at least 3 months in order to have a better outcome result. After that you can take breaks from it like using it during the day only and rest at night. The longer the faja is woren the better outcome results you will have and also post op massages are important to aviod lumps on lipo areas. Best of luck!

A faja, also called a compression garment, is worn after surgery to minimize pain, reduce swelling, and help the skin bounce back properly and shape the surgery site.
I normally recommend the faja to be worn 24/7 for four to six weeks after liposuction surgery, removing the faja for hygeine. We follow the progress of your healing at your post operative check ups, to give each patient precise advice. We do find that some people like wearing the faja and continue to wear it for a few extra weeks, and some people need short breaks from it now and then.

This question is best answered by your surgeon as opinions vary, but typically it's around six weeks. Compression helps to manage swelling as well as gives support to tissues as they heal. Compression should fit snugly but not be too tight.

There is no evidence that compression garments have any impact on plastic surgery results, including after liposuction. We recommend patients wearing them two weeks, but different providers have different policies.
