Surgeons have many different protocols - from no compression at all, to compression for months along with lymphatic massage. After undergoing Lipo 360, it is generally recommended to wear a compression garment (also known as a faja) 24/7 for at least 4 to 6 weeks. During the first few days following the surgery, most patients are instructed to wear the faja continuously, only removing it when showering. After the initial period, you may be allowed to take short breaks during the day, but it is essential to continue wearing it at night for several more weeks to support proper healing and optimize the results. The compression garment may help to manage swelling, reduce the risk of complications, and assist the skin in properly contouring to the new shape. Follow your surgeon's specific instructions regarding the duration and usage of the faja, as individual recovery needs may vary. Additionally, many patients find that continuing to wear the faja for a few extra weeks beyond the recommended period can help achieve even better results.
