I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Vega and his team, from start to finish. I had email correspondence for several months this leading up to my procedure and the staff was helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left to go home, they helped me arrange everything and made sure I was well taken care of. All of my questions were answered and all of my needs were met. Matter of fact, I'm already planning my next procedure because I am so happy with the results. Highly recommended!!!

I had semi tuberous breasts. They have made me embarassed and ashamed since I was a teenager. I'm 31yrs old now and finally was able to go through with surgery to have nicely shaped breasts. I researched a lot and found Dr. Ricardo Vega. He is in Tijuana, BC, Mexico-- a city right across from mine. People are scared of going to Tijuana for medical or cosmetic procedures but they should not be. If you research and are well informed you can find a plethora of world class doctors. I am satisfied with my experience and very happy with the results!

three months later. using advance scar gel but think I should use silicone sheets, especially for the right nipple. the sutures on that side are not smooth and there is a dip like a tugging. no sensations back yet.

It is coming back on right side but not left. The scar is healing up. Overall feel good, but definitely uneven- probably due to natural uneven-ness. Right side scar much more prominent

They're very uneven but my breasts were like that from the beginning and I did not opt for a lift; just the augmentation. The right nipple looks and feels weird. Rarely now I get nerve "sensations" on either side. I can definitely feel again.

Very grateful I chose to do my mommy makeover with Dr. Vega. Above being super happy with my results, the care and attention the staff has provided has been superb and has made my recovery all the less stressful. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I am recovering well and am very pleased with the outcome. I recently had surgery with Dr. Vega, and my experience exceeded all expectations. From the first consultation, Dr. Vega was very honest about what I wanted and what he could realistically achieve. I scheduled my appointment for a breast reduction and 360 liposuction, feeling confident in his expertise.
On the day of my surgery, the clinic arranged transportation to take me to the hospital. There, the staff provided exceptional care, answering all my questions and ensuring I was comfortable as they prepared me for surgery. Their kindness and professionalism made a significant difference in my overall experience.

After 4 pregnancies my lower abdomen hanged low. I had a lot of insecurities about my abdomen. Thank goodness I found Dr. Vega because he has changed my life! I had a mommy makeover back in June and I can say that I am beyond amazed of my new body! I can’t wait to show it off next summer! Thank you to Dr. Vega and his team.

I have had four different physicians perform cosmetic surgery on me in the last 21 years. My first surgery was in WI by a locally highly reviewed plastic surgeon. My breasts were so heavy I had chronic back pain and had trouble exercising with the weight of my breasts. My health insurance had him weigh my breasts and said it was medically necessary. He had to weigh and remove 500 cc or ml from each breast. I still had a size C cup afterwards. I won’t name his name here. However, I had the worst scars of all of my surgeries. I had treatments done on them but they still didn’t fade for over 10 years. Also my breasts were uneven. My left breast dimpled in toward the middle at the bottom. I was so self conscious about it that I didn’t want anyone to see me with my bra off. I also lost approximately 25 pounds in those years so my breasts were smaller. That is why eleven years later I had small breast plants put in (one with a larger amount of material to even the breasts out). This was Dr. Williams in Indianapolis, IN. He did an excellent job.

Eighteen months ago I had 9 inches of skin hanging from my abdomen and 3 inches of skin hanging on my arms down by my elbows. At age 45 that is embarrassing. I had a tummy tuck & arm lift done by a different doctor (NOT DR. VEGA) in Tijuana. My surgery went well and my scars are fading (because I religiously take care of them)! Which I only found out about how to care for them by researching on my own. I didn’t know to have lymphatic massages at home and I still retained water in my back when I had a lymphatic massages this May (13 months after the procedure).

My last surgery I found the best surgeon of all!!! On 9/2/23 Dr. Vega performed a back lift and thigh lift (I will post before and after pictures later and you will see why). I should have really done a complete body lift 18 months ago because my skin hung and just didn’t have any tone in the thighs. Despite squats at the gym and working out 4-5 days a week for a year.

Dr. Vega is caring, professional, and super experienced!! :-) He does what’s best for you! Which is super important to me because I am a Registered Nurse. I have post-op care here every day (except for Sundays when the clinics closed). This care includes Ultrasound drainage of swelling followed by hand lymphatic massage. I have instant relief in discomfort after these sessions. It’s included in his consultation price! All of the employees are experienced with medical degrees. My incisions look great!! I’m on day five and I have to force myself to sit down and put my feet up. It is hard to sleep. The usual discomforts of swelling and lipo pain can not be removed with any amount of pain pills!

I had bought a plane ticket home for 8 days post-op. He was honest with me and said it is dangerous to leave before 10 days. That I need his treatments and if something goes wrong he wants to care for me. I felt a compassion I have never felt before only by Dr. Vega. I rebooked my flight and extended my recovery house stay.

I recommend Dr. Vega in Tijuana over any plastic surgeon in the US. I’ve never seen a cleaner clinic or hospital. They scrub my body with antiseptic between every step of treatment and put new bandages on every day. They even give you a name brand compression garment (faja) that costs close to $160 online. They arranged my transportation from San Diego airport (affordable $160 round trip). And they include free round trip transportation from my recovery house to the clinic every day by two amazingly safe & kind drivers. Ariadne his nurse deserves praise for how much she educated me and is patient with all my questions. Ramona gives the best massages & Diana’s warm smile greets you as you walk in. I love this place! It feels like home!! They spoil me at Dr. Vega’s and at Bella Recovery House! Come to Tijuana. I won’t share what I paid, but it is not even half of the lowest inexperienced Doctors price in the US.

Great experience! I'm really happy with my new look! Amazing results after only 2 months. I look good and I'm feeling great with all the positive compliments I've been getting. Family, neighbors, and co-workers tell me I look 15-20 years younger and want to know my secret and of course I say "Thank You Dr. Vega" you made this possible. I have no regrets and I'm glad I finally decided to invest in my self.

Estoy muy feliz y contenta con mi nuevo look. Me veo bien con tan solo 2 meses de mi cirujia. He estado recibiendo muchas felicitaciones de mis familia y amigas. Me veo mas joven y mi autoestima es mucho mejor depues de mi facelift. Dr. Vega and team are the best! They were there for me from the beginning to the end.I had a breast reduction and Mommy makeover and I’m very satisfied with my results!!!
