First time I got Dysport injected on both sides of the nose as well as above the upper lip. Now my cheeks and upper lip dont lift and moreover the sides are uneven when I smile. Laughing is also very hard, my face looks awful, paralyzed, when I do so.. When does the effect normally start to fade and when could I expect for it to be totally gone? Can it be over 6m? What about exercising, can it really help?

I would recommend a visit to your injector. Typically Dysport will last 3-4 months if standard doses are used. Check to see the dilution that your injector used and the amount of units injected. It should definitely last more than 6 weeks if standard amounts were injected.
Hello Manuel. Currently, Dysport is not FDA-approved for the treatment of migraines which means that it will not be covered by your insurance. Botox is approved for some types of headaches and is an alternative with similar side effects. Dysport works as well as Botox is, but you need to pay...
Thank you for your question. I dilute my Dysport with bacteriostatic NS as it causes less discomfort. Best,Benjamin J. Cousins MDBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon
