Thank you for your question.Yes, it is possible to have those procedure at the same time. But first, for safety reasons, to be a good candidate for the procedures you want at the same time, your labs and cardiovascular preoperative evaluation must be optimal.Kind Regards,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
Dear ax2ilyxo,I understand your concern. It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Thank you for your question! Yes, is it possible to have a BBL and breast augmentation at the same time. During recovery, I advise my patients lay on their sides, rotating on each side, to avoid putting pressure on their breast or buttocks. I recommend consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon who can affect you in person and create a personalized plan for you. Best of luck!
Thanks for your question. Combination procedures are safe and very effective in the right hands. The surgeon has to be an expert in each procedure and must have a lot of experience in performing combination procedures and can minimize the operative time. For example, we work in a team and would take around 4-5 hours for the complete operation. This allows us to get better results with less surgical time and less trauma. You definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety. Don’t settle for less than a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.
Thank you for your inquiry. Pre op blood work and EKG would need to be done first to make sure you are in good health conditions. This can be preformed at once, you can use a BBL pillow to sit down after lipo bbl, this helps a lot. Also you can lay sideways or placing pillows under. I suggest seeking board certified plastic surgeons with experience to discuss details. Best of luck!
If you are in good health, 360 liposuction with BBL and breast augmentation can be performed on the same day Having done this combination countless times, I perform the breast augmentation first to prevent undue stress on the transferred fat. This is a very common combination but recovery can be uncomfortable. I allow patients to sleep on their sides. Lying on your stomach or on your back will create pressure on your butt or breast. Patients can also rest in other positions as long as the other areas do not receive pressure. There are creative ways to manage this. For example, my patient coordinator recommends a plastic inflatable with a hole in it (called a lilo), where instead of your tummy, you place your butt, so you can sleep on your back with pillows propping up your neck and head.Kenneth Hughes, MD, ABPS Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Dear ax2ilyxo,Thank you for your question. Yes you could have both surgeries at once. It is not ideal but doable. Much better than doing a tummy tuck and BBL at the same time.Good luck,Nirmal R. Yes, this is a great combo. Different plastic surgeons have different instructions for sitting after BBL. I allow my patients to sit for limited time early on, and you can lay on your back or sides. Pressure like this will not hurt your outcome. You cannot lay on your abdomen after the breast work.Best of luck!
I appreciate your concern, and it is not advisable to lay on your stomach after breast augmentation with a lift because of discomfort and possible displacement of implants. However, if you are able to sleep on your side, then all three procedures may be performed simultaneously. The other issue is length of the operation. If your surgeon can accomplish all three procedures within six hours, then again it is possible. Discuss as possible dilemma with your board-certified plastic surgeon. Good luck.
There are challenges when combining certain procedures. After a breast augmentation you cannot lay on your breasts. After a BBL you cannot lay on your buttocks. This will pose some difficulties during recovery. You can lay on your sides but will need support for your surgical areas. Your surgeon should be able to give you further instruction for post op care.
