I would like to have the tip of my nose reduced and if needed the bridge reduced as well.. if possible I would want to complete a lip lift at the same time to increase the size of mostly my upper lip.. if there was anything else the doctor would recommend it would be good to know, but those are the 2 thing that I have specifically been wanting to do.

Answer: Lip Lift + Rhinoplasty There are surgical and non-surgical approaches to lip augmentation. Non-surgical approaches include botox (slight lift, reducing gum show) and filler (volume restoration). Surgically, you can have two separate incisions under the nose (italian), one incision under the nose (bull horn), one incision at the red/white upper lip junction (gull wing) or two separate incision at the corners, or a combination, depending on your desired look and anatomy. Rhinoplasty requires exceptional skill on behalf of the surgeon and great communication with the patient about realistic goals and expectations. Common cosmetic concerns include a dorsal hump, wide nose, sunken nose, irregularities, and asymmetries. Functional concerns include difficulty breathing through the nose, which can and should be addressed at the same time as your rhinoplasty. You might benefit from tip defining procedures using either cartilage grafting or suturing techniques that would harmonize your nose and create a more natural, elegant look. In your situation, a photo at rest and mouth slightly open would help determine whether or not you are a good lip lift candidate. The boxy tip can definitely be corrected. Combining the two should not be a problem if you qualify for both. Please check out the video below. Gary Linkov, MD Lip Lift and Rhinoplasty Specialist Manhattan

Answer: Combining lip lift and rhinoplasty Yes, a lip lift and rhinoplasty can be done at the same time. However, in the photographs you provided you are smiling. I need a photograph in repose to access whether you need a lip lift or not.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Combination of surgeries Dear jenmerce, I understand your concern. It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others.
