Rather than picking a certain procedure and chasing bad, I suggest starting the process by getting a clear understanding what’s going on with your body. In other words, get a good assessment. You have significant skin laxity of your abdomen and skin laxity is also present on your back. Skill, laxity lessons and individuals candidacy for quality Liposuction results. To get an attractive, appropriate female contour your body will need a full tummy tuck. I generally do not recommend doing a tummy tuck in conjunction with a BBL. My preference is for patients to do the tummy tuck first followed by the BBL six months later. some providers prefer to do the liposuction and a fat transfer first and do the tummy tuck down the road. There are advantages and disadvantages for both approaches. Some surgeons will prefer to do both procedures as a combined procedure. You are numerous reasons why doing a BBL combined with a full tummy tuck is not the best idea. In regards to getting a BBL, you’re a good candidate for having liposuction of your love handles waist back and abdomen but your skin laxity is not going to give you a great result from the front view. When it comes to doing Liposuction of the tour, so I generally try to treat the entire torso as a single anatomic unit treating all aspects of the torso in order to not leave transition zones between treated and untreated areas. A full torso includes upper abdomen, lower, abdomen, love handles (all the way down to the top of the hip dip), waist, full back, and under (arm pit) all the way to the side of the breast. Doing both Liposuction and fat transfer procedures well is more difficult than most people believe. It’s probably a good reason the surgeon you went to no longer does them. The learning curve to mastering these procedures is long and steep. There are major differences in outcome based on who does the procedure. Individuals who do not select sufficiently talented providers can easily end up being disfigured for life. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of properly, vetting plastic surgeons, and putting in sufficient effort to find the right provider. I generally recommend not traveling long distances for elective surgical procedures. There are, however, certain instances where there simply isn’t sufficient local talent in the BBL procedure, maybe one of those. The truth is the number of plastic surgeons who can do both liposuction and fat transfer well on a consistent basis is relatively small. Being board-certified, and plastic surgery with an overall good reputation and years of experience does not mean somebody has mastered either Liposuction or fat transfer. The procedures Are sometimes viewed as being simplistic by both providers and the public. In reality they are complex in the learning curve to master these operations to the point of getting consistent predictable results is quite difficult and takes years and doing thousands of cases. Fat transfer results. It’s also a bit tricky because results from the procedure change over time. Early fat transfer results can look very impressive, but do not in anyway represent final results. For this reason, patients need to be vigilant about having a clear understanding of when after pictures were taken in relationship to the date procedure. After pictures should never be taken less than 3 to 6 months from the date of the procedure. Pictures can look stellar at two weeks but six minutes later most of the results are gone.. Early before, and after pictures are not representative of final results when it comes to fat transfer. I generally recommend patients avoid virtual consultations whenever possible. I simply don’t believe the quality of assessment or the ability to accurately vet the provider are as good as meeting in person. For most procedures, I recommend patient start by having at least five in person, consultations in order to find us officially talented and experienced provider. The first step in the process should be getting pictures everybody and have those in printed format available to use whenever reviewing before and after pictures. The pictures you’ve taken are fine for that purpose. There are only two variables determine what a BBL result is going to look like. The first is patient candidacy, and the second is the skill of the provider. Candidacy has an a Normas impact on what can, and cannot be accomplished with the procedure. A significant number of people seeking both liposuction and fat transfer are in fact, not good candidates for the procedure, and will never have a great outcomes, regardless of who does the procedure. It is very important to understand your own candidacy for both Liposuction and fat transfer in order to have a clear understanding of what is possible and what is not possible. Someone who is an excellent candidate, has the potential to get an excellent outcome if they find a sufficiently talented provider. But the same person also has the potential for being left disfigured if the provider lacks sufficient skill and experience. Someone who is not a good candidate is never going to have a good outcome regardless of who does the procedure. People who are not good candidates for either Liposuction or fat transfer, typically have issues unrelated to subcutaneous fat, such as skin, laxity, muscle, separation, visceral, fat, or issues, not related to fat distribution of subcutaneous fat. Trying to describe candidacy is a bit more than this post has room for it. Based on your pictures, you’re a fairly good candidate for liposuction and fat transfer. In particular well done liposuction of your love handles in the waist should have a transformative effect even without a BBL. Adding the fat transfer component will hyper feminize your body even further. To get a quality outcome will however require also getting a tummy tuck. If there really is a true lack of providers in your area who have sufficient skills and experience in the BBL procedure, then you may, indeed need to travel for the procedure. I’ll give you my recommendations for how to approach and in person consultation and you can try to adapt those towards virtual consultations the best you can. During each in person consultation, patient should come bringing with them pictures of their own body to use as a reference. During the consultation, ask each provider open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before and after pictures for the procedure you’re interested in. In this case, the BBL. As providers to only show you results of patients who are the similar body characteristics to your own. Bring pictures of your body with you to confirm that they’re showing you pictures of previous patients who look sort of like you do. Ask providers to show you a variety of outcomes. Ask them to show you examples of excellent outcomes, average outcomes, and outcomes that did not turn out as well as they had hoped for. again there’s no point in seeing quality results on patients that look different than you in the before pictures. Patients who are excellent candidates are going to have much better results than those who are average candidates. Your candidacy, for the procedure is fine. The single variable that makes you less than an ideal candidate is your skin laxity. This has less to do with fat transfer results, but will inherently limit what can be done in regards to Liposuction results. Providers may be apprehensive to show you anything but preselected pictures, representing the best results of their career. Providers are trying to put their best foot forward and are generally trying to convince patients to choose them as the surgeon. Sing, preselected images, representing the best results. Other providers career is completely insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like or how many procedures each provider has actually performed. For a reference and experience provider should have no difficulty showing you at least 50 Set a before, and after pictures of commonly performed procedures, like the BBL. Again, when you’re reviewing pictures, do you need to specifically ask what the timeframe was of when the after pictures were taken compared to the date of surgery. If you see after pictures, taken with patients still on the operating table or still having purple surgical marks on them, then discount those results as not being representative in anyway of what final results look like. Continue with this process until you feel very confident you found the right provider. If done poorly Liposuction, especially has the potential to leave people, disfigured, and poor Liposuction results are generally not possible to improve upon. When, in doubt, slow down and schedule more consultations. Another approach would be to focus on getting your abdomen fixed first and finding providers for that locally should be a little easier.Judge Tammy tucker results based on who gets the most natural looking belly buttons with a very low, said scar that follows, anatomic, contours, naturally and evenly on both sides, leaving the torso, looking, balanced, appropriate and attractive from all angles. Based on your post, it seems that the BBL is your priority so perhaps staying with the plan and having that procedure first is the way to go. In the end, a lot depends on what people are trying to achieve and what you’re willing to go through. To help guide patients through the process, I personally find having in person, consultations that are thorough and focused on patient advocacy to be ideal. There may be providers closer than you think you have excelled and mastered these procedures. Some of the best surgeons, I know have very small Internet profiles, don’t engage in social media, and simply still use old-school or the mouth reputation to stay busy. You could always start by having virtual consultations, and if somebody seems like they are a potential provider for your needs then you can schedule a trip to meet with them in person or consider, trusting the consultation you had. Most people do not have a lot of experience consulting with plastic surgeons. Plastic surgeons on the other hand have a lot of experience consulting with patients. One of the advantages of scheduling multiple consultations is that patients simply get better at consulting by having multiple experiences, recognize that part of the purpose of having a consultation it’s not only to learn about the procedure, but for you to vent the provider. You are after all hiring a professional, and you have the right to interview the provider and ask for sufficient documentation and evidence of previous work to confirm it. They have the skill and experience necessary to deliver the type of results you want. I think an active role in the consultation process, recognizing that you are after all the client who is paying for your services. When, in doubt, slow down and schedule more consultations. Do not rush into this process, unprepared. Good luck, Mats Hagstrom, MD
