In your case, I would say that a BBL would give only a minor correction. Not only do the areas that you are inquiring about have a minimal deformity, but your donor sites of abdomen and flanks have minimal fat to transfer. This will result in only a minor to modest improvement. It is possible that you may have more fat to transfer, but this can only be assessed on an in person physical exam.
Thanks for your question. From your pictures, you seem to be a good BBL candidate. The BBL includes 360 lipo, which is lipo of the upper and lower abdomen, the upper and lower back and the flanks. This helps contour your waist and give you an hourglass figure, and the transferred fat will add projection to your buttocks. In addition, if you do not have enough fat in these areas, liposuction can be performed in many other areas of the body for fat transfer to the buttocks, such as the upper arms and chin. Depending on your desired results, you may be asked to gain some weight. I recommend you schedule a consult for a proper evaluation. Make sure the surgeon you choose has extensive experience with BBLs and clean credentials. Always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Take care, Moises Salama MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Based on your pictures, you are an excellent candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). A BBL consists of harvesting the fat and strategically placing this fat in your buttocks and lateral hips in aim of establishing the buttock projection and hip width you desire. While there are general limitations (generally less than 5 L of fat) to this procedure, combining this procedure with strategic liposuction to your flanks may help you achieve an improved silhouette and optimal results. A virtual or in person consultation with a BBL specialist will provide you an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Brandon Richland, MD
Hello @JMadden94, thank you for your question. yes you would benefit from BBL. It is always my goal to perform this procedure in conjunction with liposculture in order to enhance body shape and improve the body lines. From here, I harvest fat to make a fat injection in the buttocks with micro seeding to generate more volume and give it a great shape. The best course of action is to consult one or several board certified plastic surgeon for more information and options tailored specifically to your needs. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD. Dear JMadden94,based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Yes you would benefit but need to find a doctor that does very thorough lipo to get enough fat for transfer. I posted a link below that demonstrates a “skinny bbl” result.
Great posted photos. You are classified as a skinny BBL, because limited donor fat available. I offer pure SKINNY BBL w only fat grafting or COMPOSITE SKINNY BBL as a combination of available fat and fillers (Radeisse/Sculptra) injections. Best to virtual consult with.....
I see no reason why you shouldn’t be able to get a great BBL outcome. Another option is just simply deal with Liposuction and emphasize reducing your love handles waist back and abdomen. There are significant differences in skill and outcomes, depending on which provider you choose. Being bored, certified in plastic surgery with years experience, and an overall good reputation does not mean somebody has mastered either Liposuction, or a fat transfer. For anybody, considering permanent, irreversible body changing procedures, I recommend having multiple in person consultations I would time you can get a more accurate assessment and fat plastic surgeons regarding their skill and experience. I suggest patient start by having at least five in person consultations, but consider rescheduling more if needed. I generally encourage people to avoid virtual consultations whenever possible, and I definitely recommend not traveling long distances for elective surgical procedures, unless absolutely necessary. If in doubt, slow down and schedule more consultations. Patient should consider the outcomes of these procedures as permanent and irreversible. If done poorly patients can be left disfigured. Choose carefully,Mats Hagstrom, MD
