A BBL does not tighten the vagina or the anal area. A Brazilian butt lift removes fat from areas such as the abdomen, waist, back, or thighs and transfers purified fat to the buttocks or hips. It can change the shape around the buttocks and sometimes the surrounding contour, but it does not repair or tighten the pelvic floor, vaginal canal, or anal sphincter. Any feeling of tightness after surgery is more likely related to swelling, garment compression, soreness, or temporary changes in movement during recovery. Sexual activity with one partner will not undo the fat transfer once you are healed, but you should follow your surgeon’s instructions about when it is safe to resume sex and how to avoid pressure on the buttocks early on. If your real concern is vaginal laxity, pelvic floor weakness, or anal symptoms, those should be evaluated separately by a gynecologist, pelvic floor specialist, or colorectal specialist.
