Received miradry about a year+ ago - Lumps have come back on my armpits.

Question

Lumps have come back on my armpits like when I first got the procedure done, and are sore. Any reason why this is? Unfortunately, miradry did not work for my sweating.

I would go back to the doctor who performed the procedure to assess you.  It would be highly unlikely that the post-procedure lumpiness that you got right after your treatment is the same finding you are experiencing a year later.  Best of luck!

Lumps that went away and then came back after miraDry, especially this far out from your treatment, are unusual.  You should follow up with the physician provider who performed your treatment to be examined.

The lumpiness is tissue induration.It is unusual for this to persist or recur at one year.I have done miraDry since May 2011 and have not seen this to occur. That's why we use citrus bioflavonoids like swell-x pt in our practice. Hi, I would recommend returning to the office where you had the miraDry procedure a year ago.  It is best to be reassessed by your provider.
