Tip revision - is it worth it? (Photos)

I believe there is a good criterion from your side, your tip is artificially pointy, overly long and too high; should your surgeon feel non confident in handling your case, asking to refer you to a colleague expert in high-end custom revision rhinoplasties, now the whole tip-alae-annexes complex has to be redone in order to achieve a beatiful, natural and balanced tip shape/length.

No matter what you asked for, I believe there is an professional aesthetic misjudgement in your result.

I see what you mean, but how sure are you that you want to change it? I largely agree with your surgeon in the sense that overall the nose looks really good, and you have ot know that if someone were to go back in, some of the very nice things about your nose might change and get worse.

I see the pointiness, but also, it seems as though the tip of the nose is very projecting -- that is, it sits far forward away from your face. I'd like to see the tip back closer to your face, and making that change would assist in making the tip less pointy, too.

Absolutely. On profile you tip is over projecting and pointy and does not look natural. Deprojecting the tip and softening the appearance would reliably improve the appearance and make it look natural.

Your nose looks artificial from the side view with a very pointed tip and a lot of projection. This can absolutely be made more natural and we strive for very natural results in my practice.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. Maneuvers for your surgery would include tip refinement, nasal tip deprojection, among other maneuvers. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result.
