Hello, I was wondering if my body/bmi is suitable for this procedure. My BMI as of now is 23.5 but I’m trying to gain about 5 pounds. I would say I’m skinny/slim but I have plenty of fat on my stomach (slight pooch) and inner thigh fat as well as a little under arm fat. I want to achieve & little back fat. Im trying to achieve an hourglass shape & need enough fat for bbl. What do you suggest to achieve this. Do I need more fat? Thank you.

Answer: Would I be a good candidate for liposculpture? Hello @wabmct, thank you for your question. To make an informed recommendation, more information is needed. Many skinny women choose liposculture because it permits the decrease in an orderly manner of the body volumes to achieve a better silhouette. A consultation is vital to establishing a surgical plan that meets your needs, meets your expectations, and takes into account what is possible. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.
