Hi, thanks for your question. As you may know, it's not possible to answer your question without a pic. Not always is a good idea to gain weight to have a BBL, especially if you are slim. You can get volume with butt implants, that make natural and great results. Consult a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to discuss your goals. Good luck!

An in person evaluation is recommended to determine if you are a candidate. I encourage you to meet with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to discuss your goals. Contouring with liposuction may improve your trouble areas and give you an illusion of a more hour glass shape even if you do not have adequate fat to transfer.

In my experience the BMI is a great indicator or parameter for doing the procedures especially a liposuction, but having a lower BMI doesn’t necessarily means you can’t have a skinny liposuction and BBL, but you would require a virtual or in office consultation to really assess your specific case and yes you may require to gain some weight.

Delivering consistent quality, liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people realize. The number of plastic surgeons of mastered these procedures are in a small minority. There is significant variation in outcome depending on who you choose as your provider as well as your own candidacy, which we can’t tell you without pictures. To find the right provider I suggest patients have multiple in person, consultations with local, board-certified plastic surgeons, who have expertise with these procedures.
During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of a previous patient who had similar body characteristics to your own.An experienced plastic surgeon should have no difficulty showing you the before and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients.
Patient should recognize that permanent irreversible body contouring procedures can potentially leave people disfigured you’ve done poorly. Being board-certified in plastic surgery including those with years of experience does not mean somebody has mastered any one single procedure.
