I’m 23 and I feel like I’ve finally reached the right age to go through cosmetic surgery, however I have a very specific nose that I want and I’m not sure if it’s even possible to achieve it. I don’t necessarily want a higher bridge but I want this shape (pics 3-5) instead of a straight nose, which is a very common result of asian rhinoplasty. I feel like a straight nose elongates people’s faces, so I want the tip to be more flat, squarish and up-turned.

A rhinoplasty in my opinion is one of the most difficult procedures to perform. In my practice, I utilize piezosurgery. Piezosurgery is a more gentle technique that allows for greater precision. Less bruising and swelling is common with Piezosurgery. In a typical rhinoplasty, a hammer and chisel technique is performed leading to more inadvertent fractures. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

Answer: The effect you want can be achieved with 3D printed custom implant. Since your nasal tip seems upturned, it will be better to lengthen the tip naturally. If you don't want it for subjective reasons, you need to consult with the surgeon in more detail about that part.Of course, the final decision is yours.

Unfortunately you my not be able to achieve the definition and shape you desire for a few reasons, most notably your skin thickness. If you decide to undergo rhinoplasty, raising your upper bridge a few millimeters with an implant may help to achieve better bridge definition.
