I am a plastic surgeon specialized in rhinoplasty. I have performed over 10000 surgeries for patients from all around the world. My leading idea is to find the best proportions of the nose matching patient's face features effecting with perfect and yet beautifully harmonious effect.
I traveled from Australia to have my rhinoplasty done with Dr. Suh and it was the best decision ever. He is so patient and informative and listens to your personal concerns and needs. I am in love with my results it has come out so natural, throughout my healing process I had minimal swelling and almost no bruising. I had previously had consultations with up to 5 different doctors and clinics and none of them made me feel as safe and comfortable as Dr. Suh, I am beyond thankful and I now get to live with a nose that makes me feel so beautiful and confident.
I consulted dr suh 4 times in total. He is patient and able to tell me what I want to know. I was very worried about the after care for nose and also the result as I worried it will look fake. He assured me that it will be natural looking and he will do his best which was comforting. After the surgery I had some bruising and swelling. Tina my consultant said I could come daily to use their led for de swelling which helps. Now, after 10 days, the bruises are gone, just a little swell. Over all experience was pleasant so can’t wait to see my new nose by dr suh.
Perfect experience from start to finish. I am Korean American and travelled to Seoul for rhinoplasty. I visited 5-7 different clinics and surgeons (ID Hospital, View Clinic, DA Clinic, Face Plus Clinic). All of the surgeon consultations I had felt rushed. NOne of the surgeons I met with were specialized in only nose rhinoplasty, they also did breast, face, and body augmentation. Dr. Suh is one of the most qualified rhinoplasty specialists not only in Korea but in the world. He has taught any many medicial schools and provides the expertise for other plastic surgeons in Korea. He only does rhinoplasties so you know he is extremely advanced and precise. He also only does 2 surgery a day so they are never tired or overbooked. This was so surprising to me because ID hospital told me their surgeons do 5-8 surgeries in one day. The follow up care was very easy (of course hard to breathe) but the entire team and my consultant were very kind and knowledgable. We spoke Korean but they had lots of translators for the foreign patients. I had very little swelling and almost no bruising which was hsocking because some youtube videos, patients will get very bad bruising around the eyes and cheeks but I had none. I am now 2 weeks post-op and you can barely tell I had surgery, which is exactly what I wanted. I did not want to look like I had gotten a fake nose and that is exactly what Dr. Suh provided. I recommend only Dr. Suh to my friends or anyone seeking a rhinoplasty in Seoul Korea. He is the expert!
I was really nervous at first but now at 4 months post-op I am loving my results. The procedure went well & the staff is extremely helpful. They continued to follow up with me after the treatment and gave me more than what I needed to heal properly.
Dr Suh is without a doubt a true specialist in his field. So experienced and amazing at what he does I was able to have a rhinoplasty with Dr Suh and I am so pleased and happy with the final outcome. Dr Suh was able to explain in detail everything I needed to do to be able to have the perfect nose and it turned out better than my expectations. I highly recommend Dr Suh to anyone who is interested in getting a rhinoplasty procedure from the best of the best in Korea. No pain, amazing precision and beautiful outcome is the result you will achieve with the master rhinoplasty specialist Dr Suh! Thank you to Dr Suh for taking the time to answer all my questions and queries definitely the best!
I had my first Rhinoplasty done in Indonesia in 2016. Time went by, and I realized there were 2 issues from my previous Rhinoplasty. First of all, my nose bridge was sunken and not straight. Second, I found out that there's something-off from the tip of my nose. I could see that the implant protrudes inside of my nose tip skin. Horrible! I knew it was a huge red alarm for me that my nose tip could be possibly perforated if I don't fix it soon. So I said to myself that I got to find the right surgeon this time to do the revision. I didn't want to have a weird-looking revision nose or worst case I might be losing my nose tip. I was so grateful I finally found Dr. Suh after lots of lots research. He’s very understanding and listened to my concerns. He took time with me to help me with my complicated case, also gave me the best examinations and advices. From the very first consultation to the follow ups, I felt very welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease. Dr. Suh and his entire team at JW Plastic Surgery Center works wonderfully and professionally. Dr. Suh literally saved my nose and my life. I wish I found him sooner! I am so IN LOVE with the result, I have the healtiest prettiest nose ever in my life and it compliments my face very well. Thank you Dr. Suh and team. Updated on 14 Oct 2021: Just uploaded this picture to help others who are seeking references for Revision Rhinoplasty. Hopefully it is helpful. Nothing is fishy here, I was a real patient and for further details, kindly contact JW Plastic Surgery.
I had a primary Asian rib rhinoplasty almost two years ago by a surgeon in the US, which left me botched with a overprojected and hard nose. I say botched in the sense not like deformed or anything but that it was not what I wanted aesthetically and functionally (stiffness). Some people might like projection, but it did not fit my face. After being botched, I started out my search for a revision doctor. In my search for a surgeon, I got a lot of the same responses, that I would always need a rib in my nose, my nose would look amorphous if I took rib out, that rhinoplasty cant be reversed. I was a little sad, but decided to be patient in my search for the surgeon, and wait until I came across the right surgeon. I finally decided to look into Korea, although I was hesitant at first. I looked through rhinoplasty literature like publications, etc., and I found Dr. Suh's work online. I then decided to email the patient coordinator, Emily, and set up a consultation. During the consultation, Dr. Suh and the coordinator Emily answered all my questions, and were patient with me, and I had a gut feeling Dr. Suh knew how to fix my nose. After consideration, I booked my surgery and flight, went to Korea, went through quarantine, and then proceeded with my nose revision surgery. Flash forward to the revision surgery - I went over the details of my revision surgery with Dr. Suh one last time and Emily again, and just hoped for the best. they were so helpful, and addressed all I wanted. I was nervous, but my surgery went sooo smoothly. Dr. Suh addressed everything I wanted for nose. The recovery process was not as difficult as my primary surgery, and I didnt have any side effects (I had a lot of discomfort due to general anesthesia during my primary) but most of all, I LOVE my new (old) nose. Dr. Suh was able to give me the nose I wanted (it was exactly what I wanted), even though other doctors said it was not at all possible to get it back to the appearance of my old nose. I also think my breathing has improved. If I were to choose any surgeon in the world for my rhinoplasty, it would be Dr. Suh! Although I do not have experience with any other revision rhino surgeons, I think Dr. Suh did a perfect job on my nose and I do not know how he could have done any better. Emily, the patient coordinator, has been so amazing, organized, and she made sure my surgery went smoothly and coordinated everything. :)) Thank you so much JW!
I had a rhinoplasty operation here by Dr. Suh on Feb. 20, approx. 3 months ago, and I am so happy that I did! I had a hump removal and tip correction that both went amazingly well.Firstly, I was surprised when the bandage was taken off because the tip of my nose was so swollen and I was completely scared that I would spend the rest of my life looking like a relative of Pinocchio crossed with Rudolph... but over about a month the swelling subsided and began looking more and more natural. After the 3rd month post-op, my nose looks very natural and I am beyond happy with the work Dr. Suh did!In addition to a great doctor, the staff was amazing- I was helped in fluently-spoken English by Tina, who also reassured me and was even there to hold my hand during the operation. The other nurses who helped were all so nice and caring (making sure I was comfortable and warm before getting the anesthesia, for example). Without a doubt, if I ever have any other operation in mind I will definitely go to JW again!
Had a rhinoplasty operation with Dr.Suh, and I am very satisfied with the result. He is a professional of his job. He made me a nose I always wanted, considering all my preferences. thank you! Also would like to Thank coordinator Aika for helping me to make the right choice by choosing Dr. Suh and JW plastic surgery clinic. She made me feel reassured that I can believe the doctors, and took really good care of me before and after operation. I decided to do a plastic surgery in this clinic only because Aika told me that this is the best place in Seoul to have a rhinoplasty surgery
After a botched nose job from Dr yoo. I came to Korea to fix it. There are so many options to choose from. But I didn't want to book my appt until meeting the doctor face to face. After 2 week quarantine. I began my consults. And some may not be able to accommodate your schedule cuz i couldn't extend my stay. One was priced really high. I chose JW because I saw online that dr suh does more natural noses. And I was hoping to look more like myself again. I liked the versatility of his work I found online (diff ethnicities). I liked that he spoke English and his coordinator Emily. So was extremely attentive and responsive (leading up to the appt and even upon arrival). I was hesitant at first with sedation because I was afraid I'd be too awake and aware. But they reassured me I'd be in a deep sleep. Which I was and I did wake up once. And I felt some pain (so I flinched) they gave me more meds and I was knocked out again. My recovery was wayyyyy better than dr yoo. I did general anesthesia with dr yoo and post-op I had excruciating throat pain and I was woozy for a good day. This time I walked out of JW clinic.. felt no pain and felt like my normal self literally. I give 4 stars for now but the truth valuation comes from the work of the nose and their care thereafter. It's post op day 1 for me so I'm extremely swollen and I have stuffing in my nose. So it's too soon to tell but I'll update with time. I got my nose smaller, derotated (cuz dr yoo made my tip point up - you could see my nostrils from the front. I'm hoping I have a natural Asian nose. Hoping this is my second and last (crying emoji) Updated on 18 Jun 2023: Dr suh is amazingly skilled at what he does. Uses ear cartilage and makes you look like your natural self. Subtle changes to give you a better more enhanced look. He is booked out months in advance for a reason
Your nose is expected to achieve excellent results through hump reduction, osteotomy, and tip plasty. For hump reduction, the dorsal preservation technique is recommended, and performing it alongside septal correction can deliver highly satisfactory outcomes. Tip plasty should not only focus on reducing the volume of the nasal tip but also address asymmetry and correct the pinched appearance on one side.
Your nose does not require an ala base reduction. Since your nasal tip is a low tip with thick tip skin rather than a bulbous tip, performing surgery aimed at correcting a bulbous tip could lead to issues such as a pinched tip. Using ear cartilage or septal cartilage to improve tip projection and enhance tip definition can yield promising results.
Thank you for your question. The current state of the hanging columella does not seem likely to improve further, even with additional reduction of swelling. Correction of a hanging columella is possible through surgical methods, which vary in detail depending on the individual. However, it generally involves repositioning the lower lateral cartilage and correcting the caudal septum.
It appears that you indeed have an open roof deformity and supratip cartilage bulging. The open roof deformity, characterized by a bony gap and flat dorsum, can be effectively addressed through osteotomy. Additionally, the supratip bulging deformity observed from a side view can be corrected to enhance overall aesthetics. This can be achieved through a procedure known as supratip septal lowering. Understanding these specific deformities allows for targeted corrective measures, ensuring a comprehensive approach to achieve both functional and aesthetic improvements. If you have any further questions or if there's anything specific you'd like to discuss, feel free to share, and I'll provide additional information
Looking at your picture and explanation I can see that the cartilage in your right nostril has a collapsed caudal margin, and there's uncertainty about whether it might collapse further over time. If it does, it could lead to external valve collapse, causing breathing difficulties and aesthetic concerns. The good news is that a cartilage suspension graft is a viable option for fixation. If you have any questions or need further information, feel free to ask.
