Hello, I'm a south asian that is 49kg and 156cm with a BMI of 20.1. I want to get a BBL. Do I need to gain more weight to get a bbl? If yes, what is the optimum weight that I need to reach? - I have some fat around my armpits, but I do plan on getting breast implants in the future. - I have some fat on my chin and my tummy My goals are having a curvy, hourglass figure, but I will try to have realistic expectations. I'm open to having butt implants but prefer not to for now.

Answer: Would not recommend weight gain I would not recommend gaining any weight for a Brazilian butt lift surgery. Any of the transferred fat will shrink if you go back to your current weight, so the weight gain would not make any significant difference on the final result. Based on your photos, you do have some excess fat in the armpit, tummy, and flanks, but it is not enough to achieve the hourglass figure in your goal photographs. I would recommend consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss how to best achieve your goals.
