How soon after Tummy Tuck/BBL can I have a Gall bladder removal surgery?

Every surgeon has their own specific post op protocol for their patients and your surgeon is the best resource when questions arise. They are most familiar with your medical history, details of your surgery, and how you are healing. In my office, an elective gallbladder removal would be performed three months after a tummy tuck procedure. Congratulations on your recent surgery.

I think 6 weeks maybe a bit too soon. Unless you are having severe symptoms with fever and abnormal blood work, I suggest waiting a bit longer. Maybe around 3 months. With laparoscopic gall bladder surgery, they will inflate your abdomen with gas. It can increase your risks of blood clots, etc when too close to a tummy tuck, which can increase the pressure in your abdomen as well.

I would wait at least 3 months for gallbladder removal following tummy tuck surgery and fat transfer.  6 notes might even be better if you aren't having terrible symptoms and can wait that long.  Complications like infections and blood clots are more common when operations are closer together

If you are sick with pain, bile duct obstruction, fever and sepsis, you should have surgery ASAP.  A less urgent situation allows the gall bladder to be removed electively.  Most cases are now done with a laparoscope.  If your blood work is normal, and your doctor is satisfied with your recovery, move ahead to getting better.  Enjoy your new figure.
