I'm 7 wpo from a tt with mr. I've a wound in the incision under my belly button that is about 1/2" dia and I can stick my pinky all the way into it. It tunnels along the incision line. I've been packing it with gauze and muciprocin (sp?) two times daily. It's not infected and it has naturally debrided. I went to my ps last week to have him check it. he removed a black metal thing and since then two more have come out on the gauze. what are these? are they OK? will i heal with them loose?
