I knowingly fractured my whole nose towards the left of my face growing up, and it happened to grow more worse, and it seems to be collapsing on one side. Was wondering if it was possible to re-break the bones, and push them back into a straight location, or am I permanently deformed. It appeared used straighter last year. Was wondering if my bones can be re-broken, and pushed back into place with decent results?

Answer: Fixing a nasal fracture many years after the break Yes, it is possible to "re-break" the bones and correct fractures many years later. When the bones are broken, they can usually be reset without breaks within 2 - 3 weeks. Beyond that point, they begin to set and require "osteotomies" or breaks. The deviation likely look worse with time as the skin thins with age and we see more of the deformity. Cartilage can also become somewhat worse over the years, twisting further into the deviation. An exam and consultation is needed to fully evaluate all these issues. The bone is only the top third of the nose. The rest of it is cartilage and directed by the septum. It is likely that simply breaking the bones alone will not fully address all of the issues. This might require correcting the septum and cartilage portion of the nose as well, especially for the middle portion of the nose.Check the video on nasal anatomy, it should help make sense of this and other explanations. Good luck!
