Tear trough fillers: Does it look like I have Tyndall effect? (Photos)

It does look like you might have the Tyndall effect from the injected filler. Although much less common with restylane than the other hyaluronic fillers, it can still occur. It can be easily dissolved out or lessened with hyaluronidase from your doctor. Sometimes massaging the area will minimize it as well.

We now use the term "tyndall" for almost any situation after a filler service.  That is okay. What I do see is that you have a highlight in the interface between the lower eyelid and the cheek on the right side in the inner corner.  As that service was performed 6 weeks ago, it needs to be resolved with an injection of hyaluronidase. If your dermatologist does not see this issue, you are getting care in the wrong office.

It does not look like Tyndall effect. Instead it might be real hyperpigmentation that can happen after bruising. This will need skin care products and possibly laser treatments to improve. Also be very careful with sun exposure. RegardsDr J
