Can I get my nose filler dissolved after just 3 days? (Photos)

I am desperately wanting my nose filler (Restylane) dissolved just after 3 days. I feel like my nose is no longer swollen and this is the final results. It is making me so depressed to be walking around with such an awful looking nose. I wanted a more refined nose tip (now know fillers can't help with bulbous noses) but what I got is a huge round tip. Can get it dissolved this soon, Please say yes!

Hi @saljess86! I'm sorry you are not happy with the results of your liquid rhinoplasty. Since a hyaluronic acid based filler was used, you can dissolve the filler at any time with Hyaluronidase. Best of luck to you, Dr. Nima!

Hi,Thank you for your question and sharing your photos.The short answer is yes; however, most providers will recommend waiting 2 weeks for the swelling to resolve and the product to settle before dissolving as the shape and contour will continue to change.You may decide you like the final result at 2 weeks and then no dissolving will be necessary. If you don't like it, you always have the option to dissolve it.Hope this helps!

I always recommend my patients to wait the full two weeks after treatment to allow swelling to subside. After this time the final results of the filler should have come through and if you are still unhappy with results you can book a review appointment with your injector. You can then get the filler dissolved if you still wish to.

Thank you so much for your question, and I am so sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience with your dermal fillers.  While you can have your dermal fillers dissolved after only 3 days if it is really bothering you, it is best to wait for a full 2 weeks to allow for the swelling and inflammation to completely subside.  It may seem like the swelling has resolved because it is better than the first day, but waiting for the full 2 weeks, will give a more accurate picture of what the final result is and then if you can make the decision of you need it completely dissolved or if you are happier with the results.

Hello and thank you for your question.   Although there is no harm in dissolving Restylane just 3 days after your injections, it is best to wait the full two weeks. There is always a degree of swelling and/or bruising that takes time to resolve and can skew what the final results will be. I advise icing and taking arnica in the meantime, and if you are still unhappy after at least 10 days, hyaluronidase will help dissolve it down. Best of luck.

It is important to wait the full 2 weeks post injections to be sure that all of the swellings has completely subsided.
